Nanny C's

We cannot express how grateful we were to find Tina's property in our search for our trip to Nova Scotia. We wanted something quiet with a stunning view and this property did not disappoint. The property was exactly as described and shown, however once we arrived the description & pictures were X 100 ! Absolutely stunning location, the view was incredible, the house was gorgeous, beds were very comfortable and there wasn't a single detail overlooked on the entire property. We spent 6 nights and it was truly not long enough! We are anxiously planning our next visit for next year and cannot wait to stay at Tina's again. Thank you Tina !!

A sandy beach stretches along the shoreline, where a group of four individuals strolls leisurely. The sun shines brightly, reflecting off the water's surface, while gentle waves lap at the shore. Lush, green hills are visible in the background against a clear blue sky.

Petite Cabin

JasmineRating, 5 starstoday
Pat’s cabin in the woods was the cutest get away. We had a few days on the road and it was lovely to get to rest up in a peaceful cabin oasis for a night. The record player was a fantastic bonus, and we visited some of Pat’s local beach recommendations the next day :) would love to come again

The Pumpkin Cottage - Peace on the river

DanielRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Pumpkin cottage. The advertisment just does not do the place justice. Barbara was a wonderful host and the property had everything you could think of. The decor was my style and loved having access to different areas of the home. Clean, tidy and friendly hosts. What more do you need. 5/5=would be back and would recommend to others. One little niggle is it would have been good to have some kind of Aircon. Fridge and eating utensils. Excellent

This cottage is really loved. So many wonderful features: art, fireplace, comfortable beds, everything outdoors a visual delight and the gazebo view over the ocean unparalleled. The main floor bathroom a bonus for anyone with mobility issues.

The red barn

PrayoshaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was a great place, the barn cottage had perfect location close to the town of Lunenburg. Also, windows of the barn were amazing. The sunlight in the morning was perfect to wake up to. The kitchen had mostly everything you needed. Melanie was perfect host and very responsive as well. Def staying again when I visit Lunenburg again!!

Quaint oceanview single room - Rose Bay

OlgaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Les Garcons created a beautiful life in Rose Bay and I felt privileged and lucky to have shared a small bit of it during my short stay. Things to be aware of: • The bathroom is on the ground floor, you have to climb up and down a pretty steep staircase. Wasn’t a big deal for me, and the staircase is very well lit with automatic lights. What I loved: • Warm, friendly hosts make you feel like you’re part of their family right away • Freshly baked banana bread on arrival – the best I ever tasted • Thoughtfully designed interiors. Many items of age don’t make the place feel dated, they are rather like echoes of the times past • Lots of local recommendations – in the guest folder plus personalized suggestions on departure • Lovely nook and many very interesting books (I wish I had the time to read them!) • A path through the garden towards the shore, with chairs to sit on and relax by the water • Quiet and serene, this place is full of love and acceptance. COME AS YOU ARE.

Mid Century Aframe, Hot Tub, and Beach Access

VincenzaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay here! It was just a 30min drive to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, but we probably could have spent all of our time here. The best part was that everything was set up and ready to go when we arrived. The hot tub was heated up, firewood in the stove, coals in the grill - all we had to do was show up. It felt so private, with a beautiful view. Absolutely recommend for a getaway.

The Rose Bay Homestead

MichaelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Ree is an extremely attentive host. She contacted us before check-in by phone and by email, and sent us full instructions on the property. The house is very well equipped (the kitchen has - literally - everything), with lots of fans, pillows, bedding, etc. The booster seat was a big hit with our 7-month-old grandchild. We didn't access the barn or boathouse (beyond admiring them), but they would obviously be great fun for a family with older kids. And the Rose Bay General Store is also a gem - close by and well-stocked with the basics and more, plus bakery and restaurant.
