Hessdalen - Amazing cabin in lovely surroundings

The cabin is located in a fantastic, idyllic location and view of 850 meters above sea level. A short walk from the cabin to the tree line and the mountain city. The drive to Hessdalen takes just over two hours from Trondheim and less than an hour from Røros. The cabin was new in 2011 and has very high standards. The mountain area is internationally known for a light phenomenon and is at Forollhogna National Park. State menu, with the possibility of seeking hunting nearby. If it is not winter broken, scooter shots can be checked upon request.

Newly renovated (2020/21) cottage on Småsetran with great views of Røros and walking distance to shops, restaurants and museums in Røros. The small spruce is located in the protected part of Røros and is therefore part of the cultural heritage. The cabin has all the comforts, large kitchen (with dishwasher), large bathroom (with washing machine and dryer), fireplace, sofa and three bedrooms with room for five/six people. In winter, just buckle up your skis outside the door and go straight up the trail to the Exhold Cabin and Skåkåsen.

In winter, there are uphill trails right outside the cabin door. Røros has an amazing trail network, with miles of ski tracks. The cabin consists of living room and kitchen in one, 2 bedrooms and bathroom +incineration toilet. The cabin is arranged for dog,with own dog yard and gated part of property. In the past year, the cabin has undergone some renovation and upgrading.

Small newly renovated cozy cottage on Småsetran- right in the heart of Røros and short walking distance to the city centre and shops. Peaceful place with a view to the lodge piles and Røros church. Ski trails and hiking trails outside the cabin door. Hytta is newly renovated this year. Bathroom with shower, washing machine and heating cables. The outdoor area is under renovation and the terrace should be built during the summer of 2022. You're going to have a great stay at this comfortable place to stay.

We are a family renting out our cabin. The cottage sleeps up to 12 people; a couple, small or large family, small children and older children. Short way to the forests and fields. Only 3 km and 40 minutes walk away from cozy Røros city center. The cabin has a 3rd bedroom inside, two of which have a family bunk with room for the 3rd, and a room with a double bed and a baby cot. The annex has 2nd family bunkers for 6. In order to keep the rental price, we want you who borrow the cabin to wash yourself.

Cozy cabin in peaceful seating area, only 3 km from the centre of Røros. Located southwest facing, high and free, with great views. Large terrace to the south and west. Upstairs room with entrance and bedroom in the middle area, living room and kitchen on each side. Firepit in living room and kitchen, heating cables in the bathroom and in the hallway. Drive way to the front door, along the dead end towards great trail network and hiking terrain at the end of the cul-de-sac and otherwise nearby.

Stay December/January. If you want to enjoy the peace, beautiful nature & solitude from Torgeir's cottage. The house has everything you need to live. There is a sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, everything you can use, was really great!!! In winter there is guaranteed snow and the lake is frozen, where you can fish for ice and we have even had success incl. Caviar. Unique experience! We also admired rainbow clouds and aurora lights. The host is super nice and helpful. So a dream vacation in winter. Here are some tips from me: be sure to take snow chains with you in winter, otherwise you can't get up the mountain. The driveway to the hut is a strong slope. Bring alcohol above 4.7%, because in the supermarkets you can only buy beer. Take as much provisions as you can, because it's very expensive in the shops. There is no wifi, so get enough mobile internet. Unfortunately, you have to do without a hair dryer, toaster and microwave, so take it with you.

Very very good and we loved here

Spacious cabin with annex in Hånesåsen

Very nice and cozy accommodation. A little “at home” feel. Nice surroundings as well as close to the city center. Great communication with host! Would recommend!

Celebrated Easter 2025 at Hummelfjell, and we had a great time all 5 (2 adults and children of 9, 11 and 16 years). Nicely located cabin with possibility for hiking in the mountains and the slalom slope nearby (late Easter, so little snow). All in all a great cabin to celebrate Easter 😊

Really nice cabin from the 1800s that has been well taken care of and preserved much of the old charm. Nice location with road all the way in and short distance to Røros city center. The place has modern bathroom and shower with hot water and it was very well cleaned. The host had also warmed up in advance, lit up in the fireplace and set on lights so that it was easy and comfortable to arrive late at night. Thank you for a great stay - would love to come back!

The cabin is wonderful, surrounded by authentic Norwegian nature. Staying there was a true blessing, and Stephanie was incredibly kind and helpful. She lent me skis and even took me on a skiing day in the area. We enjoyed lunch in a cozy cabin in the forest and had many great conversations. I stayed there to find peace and reconnect with nature, and I couldn’t have wished for a better place to do so.
