Las Casitas at Rancho Lomitas is located on 250+ acres of native Tamaulipan thorn scrub in deep South Texas. Great for birdwatching, butterflying, botanizing, stargazing, hiking and generally relaxing in the quiet of the country. Each room has a full kitchen which is stocked with everything you need except your groceries. Native plant tours are available at an additional cost. Please be aware that the road to Las Casitas is part paved and part dirt. Call for road conditions if concerned.

Great stay! Very affordable and a great value for the price. The place was clean, comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Also, the location is convenient — there are restaurants nearby which made things super easy. Would definitely stay again!
