Welcome to the beautiful little resort of Åminne on the western shore of the Vidöstern. Here you can stay in a newly renovated guest house with shower, toilet, kitchen, kitchen island, double bedroom and a sofa bed with room for two. The building was formerly used in the world as a workshop but has been carefully refurbished with many old details saved. Here you live a stone's throw from Åminne Bruk and Lake Vidöstern. It is also close to other excursions such as High Chaparall, Vandalorum, Store Mosse and others. The guesthouse is about 50 sqm.

This home is a few minutes walk from Lake Vidöstern's beautiful swimming area. Enjoy an early morning dip or walk on the trails in adjacent forest. Värnamo city is 10 minutes away by car. There is a visit to the Vandalorum art museum to recommend, or the city park Apladalen. Families with children are tipped off about the High Chaparral amusement park which is 25 minutes away, or why not the unique Store Mosse National Park that is just as close. We had a lovely stay in Belas glamping tent. Well equipped tent with nice beds, and a cozy outdoor area. The camping site is very nice and calm. It was very easy to communicate with Bela. I give Bela my very best recommendation.

I had three boys aged 16-21 at the end of May. The place was like a dream. We arrived at night, and the lake lay there, large, mighty and mysterious in the dark. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed four days fully with SUP boards, boat, swimming, sauna, walks around the lake, campfire and relaxation. Really cool to have it all to yourself. - The eldest son had to have the annex/cabin to himself! We dream of coming back in the middle of winter and ice fishing🎣, winter swimming 🥶 and then sauna🥵!!

My 12yr old son and I spent a lovely day and night at Han's Glamping spot - a luxury tent on its own in a clearing in the forest with great grilling facilities. Everything was clean and as described - the bed cosy and comfortable, plenty of cooking utensils and a fantastic location right in the middle of beautiful Swedish nature. We enjoyed cycling to the lake, grilling under the stars and picking blueberries among other things. Ideal for those looking to get off-grid and unplug for a while. Hans and his wife were extremely welcoming, helpful and generous hosts. Would happily recommend and go again.
