Casa MaryFer is located 1.5 km from Oaxaca City's International Airport and 10.3 km from the city's Zócalo and Santo Domingo church. What sets it apart is that it is located in the tranquility of a picturesque village, as well as the friendliness of its people and their traditions. The Mexican-style decoration offers its guests the comfort and friendliness of "being at home", in addition to having a temazcal bath for 6 people and therapeutic massages (at an extra cost and by appointment).

Villa Rey—Traditional Hacienda Home Near Oaxaca

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

We are part of a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and easy transportation to Oaxaca city (25 minutes away). We offer tours to craft villages and archaeological sites. For the hiker, there are local mountain trails. And, the town of Tule is 2.5 miles away with its majestic 2,000 year-old cypress tree - a sight to see!

All kinds of public transportation pass by on the road: bus, van, or taxi.

Located in Tlalixtac de Cabrera, ten kilometers from the city of Oaxaca, at the foot of the mountains where the Sierra Norte begins.
