Entire cabin steps from a quiet beach, in the peaceful cabin area of Sylvan Lake. Take the boardwalk to our downtown restaurants, children's parks, and local shops! Use our paddle boards and beach gear to experience the lake. Enjoy our firepit, front and back decks, and private enclosed backyard. Parking provided conveniently out front. From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

The historic Rosebud Cafe

Natural beauty surrounds this historic getaway. The sunrises from here are unrivalled along with stunning expansive views. The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Rustic in nature with separate outdoor composting toilet (see pics for throne room interior!) & outdoor shower (summer only). Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.

McDonald Log Cabin, ATV Friendly

Come relax in the peaceful Haworth log cabin nestled on the hillside of Prairie Creek. Named for an original settler of Strachan valley, this cabin is completely modern but built in the traditional style of the homesteaders of Strachan Valley. Perched at the end of the road, along the edge of the hillside, you will have privacy and comfort. Enjoy the mountain view from your front patio while the fire crackles beside you. Log cabins have full kitchen, bathroom, in floor heat and sleeps 4.

Rafter 2W Guest Cabins - Cabin #1

Cozy cabin with full amenities surrounded by crown land. Bring your quads and ride directly from the property trails everywhere. Relax with the whole family and roast marshmallows by your own private firepit. This is cabin#1 of 3 cabins on the property. Pets are very welcome as each cabin is private and has lots of room to play on. Walking trails are also on the property with a lookout of the mountains. There is a $25 pet cleaning fee please add your pet to the reservation when booking.

A real log cabin on the lake!

Walking distance to the lake! Perfect place to go ice fishing only minutes from your door. This amazing cabin is like a home away from home, surrounded by trees and nature. The walking trails are perfect for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and driving snow machines down to the lake. The fire pit, BBQ and backyard is a place to relax and unwind. No internet- just a pure escape from reality with total peace and quiet. The cabin is stocked with games, a dart board, and gas fireplace.

Rustic riverfront cabin

Rustic cabin on the banks of the Raven River. Offers a king sized bed, single bunk beds and a pullout couch. Kitchen space with the basics and a table. Access to public washrooms/showers close by. Heated with a wood stove. Fish, walk, splash & relax around a campfire at this oasis. One of two air bnb spaces we offer at the Raven River Hideaway. This family property has always been shared because we can't keep the beauty and serenity to ourselves!

1 minute away from public beach, The area is great for people watching, and walking distance to many local restaurants, pubs, and ice cream shops. You'll find a pizza hut and a bowling alley again within a minute walk off of 50th ave. Please note: During the summer months we accept 7 day reservations only with check in on Fridays only.
