Sarah's place is located in a very peaceful area. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting in rocking chairs on a porch. We had our meals on the deck overlooking the woods that gave us the feeling of being on a campout Kitchen is well equipped and easy to "navigate" with marked cabinets. Absolutely loved to browse Sarah's library and the 'Humans' book. The fire pit was lovely but unfortunately we were not able to use it due to the drought conditions. Would love to return in the near future.

Clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, and the location was convenient. We had a comfortable and enjoyable experience—would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Such a lovely place to stay if you want some seclusion in the mountains! The hot tub was the best part. Super comfy bed. Overall I really enjoyed my time here.

Duke's Place felt brand new! It was immaculate, had lux amenities, was everything we needed and more. We mainly came to visit Shenandoah National Park but we could have stayed right near the house if we wanted. There was a lot to do at the Resort surrounding the property and all the games at the house made for a very entertaining time. We really appreciated that we could bring our pup and that the house had a nice grassy area for walks and a secure outdoor deck that we could all enjoy. Beautiful place!

We traveled from Wisconsin for a wedding. The venue was 5 minutes from here which was so nice. The house was big with space for all 6 of us, the outdoors had a beautiful space and we enjoyed fishing at the pond. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were really nice and updated. The location was close enough to other cities if we needed additional amenities. We had a wonderful time and if we find ourselves back in Virginia we will stay here again!

Perfect place to rest on our trip from NY to SC with a planned visit to Luray Caverns. Very comfy beds; great use of space; well supplied kitchen and bathroom; tastefully decorated. Would love to stay again when in the area!

We found this property to be ideal for a family get together of 13. The game room was a hit for everyone and the surroundings were easily accessible to local attractions. House was in great condition.

D’s place was amazing! Peace and quiet plus a gorgeous view. Our kids loved the hike down to the river and playing bocce in the summer rain. Weather was both sunny and stormy, and it was wonderful to watch summer storms and stars all in the same night from the porch. Truly relaxed and magical. Thank you!

Mary and Chris’s property felt like home for us!! We loved the cabin feel, the spacious layout and the well stocked kitchen. We had more than what we needed, as far as dishes to create some magical meals. Thank you for hosting our family and we will be sure to return the next time we are looking some relaxation!

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

Chris’ place was a fantastic place to stay and relax with some friends and family. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The place was clean and very enjoyable with the amenities working. The host was very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely would recommend.

We loved staying here for family vacation. Cheryl’s home was very well put together and she was very communicative for our entire stay. She was very quick in responding to any questions or concerns I had too. The neighborhood was quiet from noise and traffic. The kids had a blast the whole time with all of the games and outdoor activities too! We will definitely be staying again!

Incredible long weekend at Sherilynn’s place. Ideal location nestled in the woods with private stream access, while close enough to town and hiking trails. The cabin was tastefully decorated, super clean and well furnished. Great communication throughout with her, highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Rachael’s Cozy Mountain Escape! The home was beautiful with a cozy aesthetic and lots of natural light. My wife and I enjoyed home brewed coffee with the local grounds provided, and we loved relaxing by the indoor gas fireplace. Our dog enjoyed all the space and exploring nature in the backyard. We explored local trails and visited towns like Harrisonburg and Strasburg for shops and tasty bites. Rachael was very responsive to any questions we had and provided a seamless check-in and check-out. We would love to return!

beautiful, spacious cabin! the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals throughout the stay. particularly enjoyed the quiet while spending time on the patio and relaxing in the barrel sauna. a super short walk to the catherine’s furnace trail head as well as short driving distance to multiple caverns and other trailheads. josh and laura were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. will definitely be back!! :))

Very clean and spacious. Comfortable furniture and beds. The view from the rental property is beautiful. Really nice to have peaceful surroundings after a long day traveling. Close to everything. A must stay place for sure. Great communication as well. We will stay here again.

This place was gorgeous! Waking up and having coffee while watching the horses was a dream. Very close to Shenandoah and several other activities. Highly recommend this home away from home!

I’ve visited many cabins across the U.S., and this one was definitely one of the best. It’s incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and perfect for a relaxing escape. Highly recommended!

All I can say is wow! I booked Rebecca's place as a one-night stop for a group of us from the UK on a short road trip in Shenandoah. I was hopeful that it would be a good stay based on the photos and description, but I don't think any of us expected how wonderfully cosy, rustic and yet clean and comfortable it would be! There were so many small touches to help us enjoy the stay - for example the fire pit already had logs and kindling arranged and Rebecca had even left S'mores out, so we enjoyed a great night sitting around the fire toasting these and even saw a firefly! Our only regret we all agreed was that we hadn't booked to stay longer - given the location right in between Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway this is THE place to stay when visiting the area!
