The location and home were great. The view from every corner was scenic. We were able to watch wildlife and take quiet walks around the lake and on the nature trail. There were lots of games to play inside but we enjoyed the beautiful weather and spent our time outside on the lake in the paddle boat and kayaks. The kitchen was plenty big and we were also able to spread out in the other rooms for alone time. We will definitely be back.

Very cool spot! It's an active/functioning goat farm! The house is much more spacious than it seems at first glance, with a nice/comfortable layout. Cabinets/appliances/furniture is super high quality and everything was very clean and neat. Design/decoration is excellent: very thoughtful and with a lot of cool details. And the host is great---friendly and provided helpful instructions.

We stayed at Susan’s beautiful farmhouse during the Christmas holiday. It was everything we were hoping for and more. Susan is wonderful to work with, responsive and helpful. The home is gorgeous with so much history and the feeling of love from many years of family. The decorations for Christmas were wonderful and enhanced the stay that much more. We would love to go back in the Spring or again for the holidays. Downtown Monroe is very close by. It’s a quaint and cozy area with shops, restaurants and the ability to walk and enjoy it. Looking forward to going back!

It is a lovely house. It had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable. There was some traffic noise but didn't really bother us. We especially liked the front porch to sit and have morning coffee. We would definitely stay there again.
