Michael's place was exactly what we needed - beautiful, tranquil and quiet. The lake was great to sit next to and look at. The weather was a little cold so not conducive to swimming but I would have definitely gone for a swim if it were warmer. Instead, we spent a lazy afternoon playing records and reading. The grill was convenient (and clean) - we grilled our dinners both nights. And, of course, there was a cute bunny hopping around in the front without a care in the world!

Excellent in every way! The hostess with the mostest. You can’t go wrong staying at Russell’s place. We literally felt like we were guests staying with family or house sitting for them. It felt very comfortable and they have thought of absolutely everything from condiments, vinegars, saran wrap, aluminum foil and all necessary pantry items. Even a brand new shower liner (yes I took notice of everything). We felt right at home and very welcomed in their secluded and peaceful home. Would highly recommend and definitely return to stay if back in the area again.

One of the best and coziest weekend getaways I’ve ever had. The location is perfect, only a 1.5 hour drive from the city and suddenly you feel like you’re in a whole other world. The house is absolutely stunning inside-out, the vintage 70s aesthetics through the living room and kitchen/dining is stunning and the vinyl collection made for some very enjoyable background music to our wine filled evenings. The large backyard that opens out into the private dock on the gorgeous and extremely clean lake just makes it all better too. We took the canoe out on the water, swam till dusk, and had the greatest times. Thank you to our host, extremely responsive, super supportive and accommodating of our requests, and just overall very kind in ensuring we had the bestest experience!!! We will be back for sure!
