We got exactly what we wanted: a user-friendly and cozy cabin in quiet and scenic surroundings. Mathias was a perfect host. He responded quickly and pleasantly to our inquiries, and we felt at home in his cabin from the first moment.

The cottage is all with all the comforts and very comfortable. The hosts, Hans and Annelene are very hospitable and we got tips for places to visit in the area. We'd love to come back to discover more of this beautiful area.

Great place to relax, in winter and summer. We would love to come here in summer.:)

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little cramped 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it was easy to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, which was quick and nice response. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

A very solid accommodation that was clean and nice! Incredible surroundings and Gabriella always responded quickly to any questions we had. Can highly recommend!

We spent 3 nights in Mette's house. The cottage is super cozy with great views of the Telemark Canal. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. No TV or WiFi. However, we did not miss that. Mette was super nice and was always available. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely, quiet place!! So perfect!

Beautiful location to have the first night from the boat (Oslo). Very quiet, plenty of space for the girls to fly for a while. Into the woods and adventure to a meadow where there is still snow. At 45 minutes the waterfalls where we went straight through the water to reach them. Wet shoes? Doesn't matter! There was a shoe dryer available, just ready. Really ideal. Anything you need is present in this b&b. Host reachable and available if needed. All in all a lovely experience!!!!!

Lovely cottage with a large lovely hot tub. Perfect for large group of friends or multiple families. Also located very nicely with a good distance to the next cabin.

Fantastic cabin! Stylish, peaceful and with a view that makes the silence even more valuable. A perfect place for both hiking and resting.

The 'hytte' is fantastic, very comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. There are many little streams gurgling by, one about five feet from the porch. We had a fire pit and watched the blue slowly drain from the sky. There are three bed rooms so you can bring a large crew. We recommend it highly!

We had a lovely stay at Carin's place with midsummer temperatures in May. The lake and the surroundings are simply fantastic and you can take beautiful hikes. The cabin was very comfortable. Thank you and all the best! 🍀

What a fantastic place. Our family of ten had lots of sleeping options. I was hesitant at first, but staying at Bente’s place was a comfortable and unique experience that our family will remember forever. Bente is very sweet and flexible. We came late at night and she was there to greet us. There is so much pure positive energy here. You can feel it all around you. The views are also spectacular and we even got to pick blueberries and raspberries. :-)

Perfect for two families with children, we enjoyed ourselves there :) Plenty of room for everyone. Lucky with the weather so we were a lot outside in the nice garden!

We had a good stay at Arthur's place in Rjukan. Conveniently located for visiting Gaustatoppen, Vemork, or other area attractions.

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

We had a great time at Gunhild's cottage. A real dream this view, the cottage is perfectly designed and has everything you need. Communication with Gunhild was great. We will be happy to come back.

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

We had a lovely week in this nice cabin. Incredibly beautiful views from the cabin, and easy to ski.

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Kristoffers beautiful cabin. Exquisite location with fabulous views, with great walking paths in close vicinity. They were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to all of our enquiries. We particularly loved the design and layout of the cabin, and felt very comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. We prepared big meals, and really made good use of they're kitchen (an italian in tow)... It should be noted that if you are having big meals be prepared to refill the water tank. For washing up and of course shower purposes. For us this added an extra charm and we really didn't mind refilling at the well just on the doorstep. My daughter loved assisting with the buckets. We had a fabulous 4 day break and found the cabin and it's amenities all very satisfying. As 3 adults, a labrador and a 5 year old, it really did tick all the boxes. Why are eager to return in future!

We had a great week in Alexander's cottage. It is very comfortably furnished and very nicely bright with large windows and the fireplace. The layout of the cottage is great because there is also a small extra living room where you can retreat upstairs. Having 2 bathrooms and a sauna was very nice. The kitchen and large dining table were great for cooking and for our game nights. There were also lots of games on site. We were able to walk well with the dogs from the hut, because there are very few cars up there and with the new snow also ski-in ski-out directly from the hut. 😊 Alexander was always available and helped us very quickly with any questions. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back! Thank you!!

Fantastic stay at Gaustablikk! We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Everything was perfect – the cabin was clean, cozy and just as described. The hosts were very accommodating and communicated well throughout the process. The location was also great and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
