Thank you Veronique for a lovely stay in Authuile. The apartment was fantastic. Very comfortable and the best equipped place I’ve stayed in France including an excellent range of English books on the region. There was lots of care and attention down to a very kind selection of food and drinks. The location could not be better - less than 10 minutes drive to Albert, easy access to the different areas of the Somme battlefields, memorials and cemeteries- including directly by walking from the door. I walked up to Thiepval via small roads/tracks and also a great circuit up the small road to Ovillers and then down a track to Crucifix Corner near to Blight Valley cemetery and then up a track to Nab valley. The apartment is well equipped if you want to cook but also we ate at the lovely restaurant next to the river.

la famille entière a un attrait très fort pour l'accueil des visiteurs : leur plaisir de recevoir transparait dans leurs sourires et attitudes + petit déjeuner succulent, digne d'un hôtel+ grande propreté+ décoration et aménagements de cet ancien corps de ferme particulièrement réussi+ malgré tout simplicité ! J'y retournerai je pense et qu'ils continuent ils sont fait pour cela! du centre de Lille utiliser le TER seulement très rapide

Logement conforme à la description, avec le nécessaire pour passer une nuit dans un quartier tranquille. Isabelle est très accueillante et réactive!

The owners are great - very warm, welcoming and willing to assist where ever possible. We stayed in the original building which sleeps 3 people. The house is fully equipped for a stay, clean and presentable. The kitchen is not of a fitted design but no matter, it functioned as a kitchen should. As the weather was pleasant a BBQ was provided and we were able to use it every night of our stay. As Brits we are not accustomed to taking our own bed linen and towels so be prepared! Also take cash or a French cheque to act as a damage security. We will definitely be returning.

Belle adresse dans un ancien corps de ferme, au calme, très bon accueil, Odile est une personne souriante et affable, très belle chambre et sa salle de bain immense. Je vous recommande ce logement les yeux fermés.

Très bon accueil de Laure, gîte très propre et chaleureux. Excellent petit déjeuner, qui nous a été servi dans un joli jardin fleuri, avec des confitures maison originales. Merci Laure!

Space, ease and peace The property was more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe, so the surprise was very pleasant. The design is modern and airy. The exceptional communication skiĺls and sincere thoughtfulness of the owner added a lot of ease to our stay and made us feel even more comfortable and welcomed. Finally, the property is located in a very quiet area of the town with a nearby lake. This gave us a feel of relaxation and of a slowed down pace of life. Our family has enjoyed a very lovely time and the kids who had plenty of space to run inside and outside will probably have wonderful memories of this place. We will certainly return and with great pleasure! Thank you very much to Ludiwine and her family ;).

Très agréable séjour, le logement est très propre et literie très confortable. Suffisamment équipé pour cuisiner et passer un bon moment. Un exérieur appréciable pour profiter du soleil. Tout est parfait 👍. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se représente.

Super séjour! Nous avons fait une halte chez Ludwig avant de nous rendre à la Braderie de Lille. Nous avons été accueilli par Gwendoline qui est quelqu’un d’adorable, aux petits soins et très réactive. Ce que nous avons aimé aussi c’est la décoration des chambres, un coup de coeur pour la chambre Rock. C’est un logement très charmant avec une petite cour très sympa, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Nous recommandons 1000%!!!

Un super séjour dans un bon cadre , un accueil autonome le gîte se trouve au fond d’un corps de ferme bien agencé . Petit plus les jeux pour les enfants et les animaux à proximité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Prachtige logeerkamer in een sfeervolle boerderijwoning. Lieve host. En een heerlijk ontbijt. Zeer fijn bed. De omgeving lijkt me ook zeker mooi. Maar voor mij was het alleen een overnachting op doorreis. En even weg van de snelweg.
