Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Rivière Noire District

We had a lovely stay at Josephines - nicely located, easy beach access - peaceful. The house is lovely so tasteful and airy, great sized bedrooms all with ensuites! Had everything we needed.

Very good location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Chris is very responsive regarding our exchanges. Warm welcome from Chris and his wife.

Me & my brother had a fantastic stay at Marie’s airbnb. She has a very spacious home & she is incredibly friendly & welcoming host even thought there was a slight language barrier! Can’t wait to come back… 😎

The accommodation was exactly as described and more! So private, clean, relaxing and the pool welcoming in the heat. Plus watching the bats roost in the evening was amazing! This was our first time in Mauritius and found it easy to drive on the roads and easy to locate the villa. You will definitely need a car though to get around as restaurants and shops are not within easy walking distance. Nearby restaurants Nomad and Vanilla Garden are excellent for food/service but the Chinese restaurant and Frenchie café at the bottom of the road are to be avoided. The London supermarket is a 10 minute drive and has everything you need if you are using the villas large kitchen or fabulous outdoor BBQ. We stayed there for 1 week but wish we had stayed for 2! If you are looking for peace and tranquillity this is the place to be! Thank you very much to our wonderful hosts.

A peaceful little haven, right with your feet in the water! Beautiful sunsets! A clean , well-equipped and very secure house! Having a car is recommended there is a supermarket 5 minutes away. However, you have to pay attention to the exit, it's a fairly busy road ( the house is very well soundproofed, you can't hear cars)

Very large, modern and very clean accommodation. The cleaning lady is lovely, she comes every morning. Bright duplex with air conditioning and fan. The location is really ideal outside Pereybere towards Cap Malheureux. You just have to cross the road to find a beautiful little beach, very quiet. The lagoon is beautiful! Great location for visiting the island. You can walk to Pereybere, about 10/15 minutes

We have been coming to Mauritius for 14 years and this was our first stay in Tamarin and Pascale and Fabrice's beautiful penthouse apartment. The location is central in Tamarin, close to restaurants and shops and easy to get to. A rental car is definitely recommended so that the island can be explored. The penthouse apartment is great, very well and tastefully furnished, clean and the terrace with 180° sea view is fabulous. But best of all is the incredible hospitality of Pascale, Fabrice and their lovely daughter Ali. We felt so welcome and right at home. The family are not just landlords, they offer a hospitality that cannot be surpassed. Especially your help and support during the cyclones (yes, it is cyclone season in Mauritius now) was so important to us and took away our fears - thank you so much Pascale and Fabrice. We will definitely come back soon.

Thanks to Nina, my parents arrived safely and a thought was prepared for my dad's birthday as requested. I made it feel like I was at the place as soon as I arrived. I really recommend this place for families or adult groups who want to spend a relaxing holiday in a paradise setting. Thanks again to Nina who was attentive to all our needs. We were even able to rent his car at a reasonable price for several days. Just a small blockage at the level of the maid who was not easily reachable if not at the top! I recommend it:)

We stayed in one of Villa Les Manguiers apartments for 1 month. We are a family of 3. We felt comfortable in the apartment. In a central location close to everything in Grand Baie. 2 minute walk from some nice restaurants and very close to the super market. It was a perfect base to explore this beautiful Island. It is a budget accommodation, clean and good value for money. Thanks to our host that we found very helpful with all of our enquiries about the country and his family for a pleasant stay. We will stay here again if we need accommodation in Grand Baie.

LiveasFamily are a friendly and social couple that responds quickly. We stayed for three weeks at this complex and had a very homely experience. The apartment is bright and clean with weekly cleanings. The terras at the back is really beautifully with floral plants and trees with an idyllic atmosphere, where you can have delicious dinners freshly made by Chef Lou. The small but cozy beach is a 7 min walk away. There are two shops in the same street at 5 min walk one of them owned by Liveasfamily. Full with good quality and organic products. Buss stops on the main road at 10-15 min walk and a small stop in front of the building.
