Vacation rentals with lake access in River Shannon

An excellent place to stay. Family stay close by so this was an ideal place to book for our accommodation for the event we attended. Have recommended to others already.

Conor’s place was fantastic! Extremely tasteful and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the warm and subtle lighting during the night hours. I would highly recommend a stay at the cottage. I look forward to coming back and staying for longer than 1 night. Thanks very much Conor!

We really enjoyed our stay at David's Holiday Home on the Kilronan Castle Estate. The location proved convenient for day trips to Co. Donegal, Co. Galway, and especially Co. Sligo (which was one of our favorites!). The unit had everything we needed for our family of 4 (including 2 teens) to spread out and enjoy, prepare meals, and even do laundry (we stayed there during the middle of a multi-week trip to UK & Ireland.) Everything was as described in the place- and, importantly, the beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed exploring the castle grounds, while I (Sean's wife) splurged for a wonderful massage and Thermal Suite at the Spa. Hubby & I also enjoyed a Guinness in the castle Dungeon Bar a couple of nights during our stay. Check-in & other instructions were clear and easy to follow. David was prompt in following up with any questions we had. We would happily stay again and/ or recommend to others.

Noreen was the perfect host. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was spectacular, a peaceful countryside setting with outstanding views. Having a red fox travel through in the evenings was an added bonus. Noreen gave attention to detail in decor and amenities. She welcomed us warmly and offered helpful suggestions and recommendations, sharing local history. She was absolutely delightful! We had a lovely stay! We found it to be a great launching point for side trips to Ennis, the Burrens, Bunratty Castle, the Aran Islands, the Loophead Loop and the Shannon Airport. I highly recommend her place!

A fantastic location with a view in every direction, each very special and therefore never boring. A good starting point for several (hiking) tours. Get tips on this too. Sun (if it shines) from morning to evening on or in the house. We have already decided after a few days that we want to come back next year. To relax, enjoy and unwind, one of the best accommodations I know. And don't worry about the access, it's really absolutely doable and doesn't require a special car or a special driver.

We had a great stay at the house! We enjoyed the beautiful weather on the two amazing beaches at walking distance from the cottage and took in the stunning view daily directly from the bedroom windows. The kitchen has all you need to cook and you can enjoy your meals outside in the garden. Also, being surrounded by all the cows made my heart happy.

We were very happy with our 2 night stay. It's a peaceful location with very nice surroundings. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy and it also had a great shower. Nice bonus was the outdoor seating area. Patrica was always prompt with replying. We will be returning.

Sean & Susan were wonderful hosts. We stayed the month of April and enjoyed every minute. The flat is so close to everything whether by foot or vehicle and a great base for exploring Northern Ireland. We highly recommend this flat and the town of Enniskillen. Thank you again Sean & Susan xx

a lovely apartment with everything you might need. Slept very well with the firm matress and quality bedlinen. Good shower pressure and lots of towels in bathroom. The pizza downstairs in the bar was so good that we had it 2 nights in a row. Really friendly and helpful staff in the bar who gave us plenty of recommendations for the area. The pub was full each night but we didn't have any issues with sound or noise from below. Highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic apartment on the Fermanagh lakes! Setting is stunning, with an amazing view. Apartment is excellent. Well located to get into enniskillen and as a base to explore further afield.

It was an incredible stay at a farm cottage. The family leaving at the farm was the kindest and the most welcoming people. I will definitely come back

Great place, spotlessly clean on arrival with everything we needed for our stay. Ideal location to explore the nearby lochs and beautiful scenery of the Cuilcagh geopark. Excellent value. Wished we had booked a longer stay!

Words cant describe how wonderful this place was. It feels a miracle that money could buy an experience like that. Stargazing in the hot tub, talking to the beautiful cows, drinking the wonderful prosecco provided and looking at all the family photos and history of the cottage, reading through the guestbook. Our second visit to Lakeside retreat !! It was just beautiful, waking up to see the swans and wildlife every morning . The place was spotless and just as cosy as before.A third visit is definitely on the cards. Thanks Patrick.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful views, cosy and clean house. The fireplace with plenty of logs was a plus. Also loads of space for our dogs to run about. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was cozy and quiet. The property is beautiful and there were lovely grounds and woods to explore. John provided us with a fascinating tour of historic Lisdonagh House. They also gave us helpful recommendations for sites to visit in the area.

Pat and Mary Angela are marvellous hosts. When we arrived the fires were lit, the table was set and there were gorgeous scones made by Mary Angela. They are both so friendly and gave lots of recommendations of places to visit. Their lovely cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Galway. It is definitely a home from home. My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and 2 Jack Russells had a great time there and we had everything we needed. We also loved Pat and Mary Angela's cafe and bookshop in Oughterard Village. Well worth a visit. Couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough!

Libby was fantastic start to finish. The cottage is really cute and suited our family perfectly. It was great to go back to a quiet place after a long day out and about. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our whole experience was fantastic and highly recommend everything about this place as well as the host and Amaya.

Our favorite place on the whole trip. Absolutely enchanting setting in a stunningly beautiful area. Michael and his family were the best of hosts, welcoming and responsive. If you’re looking for the beautiful soul of Conamarra, this is your place.

Ciaran is a great host. The cottage is more spacious than it appears in the photos and the surrounding area has everything one could possibly need for a relaxing break away from it all! We will definitely be returning soon and will bring fishing rods!
