Waterfront vacation rentals in River Dee

We enjoyed our stay and the location was near enough to the city and the Albert Docks. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. We would recommend and Nicci was very responsive to any queries that we had.

Fantastic Stay – Great Location & Felt Safe! Our stay at this AirBnB was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore and easy to get around. The neighborhood felt very safe and secure, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The accommodation itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Everything that is needed is in a walking distance. Janet is very thoughtful to all of her guests as seen by reading the guest book. Lovely suprise when opening the front door. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. 10/10

We had a fantastic week at Sunny Bank. House was spotless and had everything we needed. Very close to lots of lovely restaurants and cafés, my boys especially loved the ice-cream parlor just down the road. Fantastic walk above the the house with amazing views over Barmouth.

Great modern property overlooking the beach and with views of Liverpool and life on the Mersey. The dog loved looking out the French doors to the street and beach below….our garden clearly not as interesting since we returned! We chose this property due to the beach side location but was also easy to access Anfield for the Bruce Springsteen concert (we chose to Uber but train would also have been a good option). Off-road parking with assigned bay was also an added bonus. Our only issue was that we struggled to operate the (very modern) oven but our techno-savvy daughter was able to rescue us before we had to ask for help! A great stay and we shall definitely return again.

Would highly recommend Paul as a host, keeps in contact from date of booking until arrival , very knowledgeable, fantastic recommendations, like the Berry and Rye Bar. Paul’s welcome folder full of useful information, I would say well worth a read. Ie Berry and Rye was in the folder. Looking forward to a return visit to continue our way through his folder.

I stayed for only 2 nights and instantly regretted not booking for even longer we went for a family get together and we were all so blown away at how big it was but also so homey. it was great that the beach was only a couple of minutes away so we could nip back and forth. Helen was easy to get in touch with if we needed anything, not that we did. overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again

Lovely hidden gem! Tucked away but so close to everything, we loved staying here. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 bigger kids. Beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of additional touches like the very thoughtful welcome basket - very much appreciated. River views are beautiful, especially from the balcony on a sunny morning. We loved our daily wander into Chester via Grosvenor Park or by the river for a slightly longer a scenic route. Jaunty Goat was a favourite for breakfast, and we wandered round the walls to The Architect pub for a nice drink, but so many options within the city. Super handy Waitrose is just across the road. We even managed to tuck our fairly big car into the parking space (we were warned it was tight but it was totally fine with a bit of mirror manoeuvring). Would definitely recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming orchard cottage in North Wales. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully presented. spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location is stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive from local towns, scenic walking routes, and the coast. We especially loved the peaceful tranquil of the surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful local tips and even leaving a few special touches for our arrival that made us feel so appreciated. Had the most wonderful few days staying in this gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean we could quite happily have just chilled in the lovely garden but with the quaint market town of Shrewsbury a short walk along the canal path and the property ideally situated to visit the historic Iron Bridge and Ludlow (to name just a few) we ventured out to explore and weren’t disappointed. We will be back.

Had a wonderful stay here with my family - Clare’s place is very homely and the view from the garden is beautiful! So lovely to have a view of the sea to one side and mountains to the other. Felt so peaceful and was perfectly placed for a weekend exploring Snowdonia. A beautiful pub just a walk away too which was a lovely addition. We will definitely return!

An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

This property is extremely central and a stone’s throw away from the arcade and pier. Fantastic location and a lovely, large clean space. The kitchen area is great and the whole house was clean and well equipped. Jay was an excellent host - going above and beyond to make our stay great. There is no parking directly beside the house but we found parking on the streets nearby without any problems. Once there we didn’t need the cars as everything was so close.

Siobhan was an excellent host for our recent 2 day stay in Liverpool. All instructions were very clear and she went the extra mile to ensure we had a smooth check-in and made the most of our stay. The house itself is tidy, spacious, and well set out offering good value for money, whilst the location offers a nice balance between being beside the waterfront and the city centre itself. Would certainly book again on future visits to Liverpool and would happily recommend to others.

Ann's/Sue's, riverside apartment was perfect for what we needed. was very clean and perfectly furnished. we meet Sue who showed us around and gave us all the details we needed for our stay. Sue's recommendation for places to go and see was top notch. we walked along the riverside to the local Albert docks, bars and restaurants. we visited the city centre and had a great time. the cavern club was a highlight. also we recommend the hot water comedy club we had such a good night and laughed so much. if you need a break in a great city of Liverpool we can't recommend Ann's place enough. perfect and we will definitely be staying again. especially as there still so much Liverpool have to offer for a great city getaway.

What a wonderful, homely apartment which is very much a part of a family home. The views are wonderful and it so spacious and quiet. We will definitely be back ! Debbie and Chloe

New Brighton and 12 Dudley road.... English Victorian house. Spacious and welcoming rooms. High ceilings. Large windows letting in floods of light. Relaxing and cozy furniture and interior. Well-equipped kitchen. English back garden with a shed. Quiet and safe neighborhood (no happy and cheerful neighbors who are more than happy to accompany your night's sleep with catchy music and lively rhythms). Soft calls from wood pigeon and collared dove. New Brighton railway station, shopping center, New Brighton's beautiful promenade and sandy beach, New Brighton's steets, houses and interesting architecture and New Brighton's local pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. A 25 minutt train ride between New Brighton and Liverpool. If you want a pleasant stay in an English home in an English village while on holiday in England, then most likely New Brighton and 12 Dudley road may very well be what you are looking for. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay in lovely West Kirby. Feltlike a real home from home, with everything we could have wanted provided for us. Lynn was great, suggesting things to do etc. Highly recommended

we had a lovely 3 day stay at Heidi's place, the apartment was beautiful with the most gorgeous view, it had everything that we needed and was spotless ! barmouth town centre is less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment which was fabulous and Heidi gave us plenty of recommendations of places to go and places to eat. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay, a comfortable apartment with a lovely view of the marina. It was very peaceful but just 20 minutes walk from all the main waterfront attractions. Parking was easy and Sarah was a helpful and responsive host.
