Two different houses interconnected - in the beautiful village of Saint-Jean-de-Paracol : our designer new built top chalet and the apartment come complete with a secluded patio and large terrasse overlooking the village. Ideal for family getaways or small reunions ... for folks who love walking, hiking, cycling, exploring, cooking (our kitchen is great for foodies!) and just chilling - the perfect base to explore this fascinating region of the south of France, the heart of Cathar country.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Charming recently renovated cottage set in the heart of a 70-hectare organic vineyard estate, in the Pays Cathare, close to Carcassonne and its many castles. It offers stunning views over amphitheatre-shaped vineyards and the surrounding countryside, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. Located next to the Belgian owners’ farmhouse, it remains entirely private, surrounded by nature. During your stay, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

Farmhouse at Montjardin

The Palauqui farm is located in the Montjardin valley, in the middle of the forest and our sheep. We are in Cathar country near Montségur and Puivert. Our cottage will allow you to discover this beautiful region between sea and mountain. Ideal for a family who loves hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, as well as swimming and fishing (Montbel and Puivert lakes) 15 minutes away. Access to all shops, electric bike rental 4 km from the village of Chalabre.

Then, you will discover a comfortable and warm living space, you will notice that many elements have been restored or manufactured in the workshop that is on site. With its interior space of 60 m2, you will also have a 25 m2 terrace on 2 levels facing the mountain. Facing south, you will enjoy beautiful light. Charming attic apartment with beautiful ceiling height, equipped with Very High Speed and in the city center with all amenities, in the heart of Cathar Country with its castles to discover, beautiful hikes and exceptional heritage (Lombrives, Niaux, Mas d'Azil caves, the Labouiche underground river...). Located at the foot of the mountains, with a family ski resort 15 km away (Les Monts d'Olmes), and an hour's drive from Carcassonne, Toulouse, Andorra.

Large home at the feet of the mountains

Our very spacious house ( classified 3* ) is located in a small village at the foot of the mountains, 18 km from the resort of Monts d 'Olmes and 7 minutes from the castle of Montségur. The house is composed, on the ground floor, of a large living room (100 m2) and on the floor of a large bedroom with bathroom + dressing room, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. You can enjoy the small garden and park your vehicles there.

Delightful studio for two, with shared pool

The studio has a bed-sitting room with comfortable double sofa-bed, folding table and chairs, Wi-Fi and TV (with Netflix), and an adjoining bathroom with shower, basin and w.c. The separate kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, and plenty of cupboards. Sliding glass doors open onto your private terrace, with table and chairs for eating outdoors, and sun-deck to relax on.
