I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

The cabin with all the conditions and amenities. Peaceful atmosphere. Sufficient heaters and blankets. Hot water. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Very close to Chespiritos 3.

Wilber and his wife are amazing people, keep in mind that there is no restaurants around the area or any shops, but they cooked delicious meals for us. And, keep your repellent close

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

The cabin was perfect for disconnecting from the city. It had everything to cook and use the fireplace. We were with my 4-year-old son and I also love the place, the space was perfect for sharing as a family, eating and watching movies with the warmth of the fireplace. It has many beautiful, natural rural attractions and cafes to try the best coffee in Costa Rica. The Jacuzzi was difficult to understand how to turn on but in the end we did it and the location of waze was a little outdated but in the end we asked someone from the community and we arrived (we entered by the route of Desamparados, Frailes, if we had done the route from the Guarco we would have arrived super well)

Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)

This is the second time we've come, we loved the extension they did. The place is beautiful and quiet. Ideal for couples, relaxing and spending beautiful nights. It has everything to cook. We really enjoyed the stay and got out of the routine in a beautiful place surrounded by coffee plantations and the sounds of birds.

Cabana Chirincoco was so perfect we didn’t want to leave. Juan and his family are amazing hosts-friendly, proactive and inviting. We loved the cabin especially how open it was to nature: the outdoor kitchen, bulls across a gentle stream and so many hawks, toucans and chirincoco birds. You can walk to General Viejo our take a short drive to Rivas, San Isidro and other local cities. Plenty of food options whether you eat in or dine out. We will definitely return next time we find ourselves in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful area, and staying in Osvaldo's cabin made it even more special. The views and privacy were appreciated. Everything we needed was provided, including space heaters and many blankets. It is quite chilly at that elevation! My husband is tall and had to be careful of his head upstairs. This area has many marvelous birds, including a family of Acorn Woodpeckers who live under the roof; now and then we heard them shuffling around above us at night. We had nice meals at Gema del Bosque and La Tapir. Miriam's Quetzals has good breakfast and coffee, and truly outstanding birdwatching on the back deck!

This place is fantastic. Big and spacious. Peaceful and quiet. We had hoped for lots of birds and more wildlife, but that was practically nonexistent. The place is fairly close to Santa Maria, which offers everything you would need for supplies and some great restaurants. If you are a larger group, this is the perfect place. Especially if you have kids. The soccer field was awesome. We would stay here again, and Gustavo and his group of helpers were very responsive and on top of everything! Thanks for helping make our stay wonderful.

We loved the place. It is very well equipped and very nice. It is also in the very center of Santa Maria. The hosts gave clear instructions and responded quickly. We can't wait to come back for more days. The bus/lodging is inside a property where there is something else, which makes it safe and there is also privacy. Thank you!

This home in the heart of the jungle is a real little jewel!! We spent 5 nights there and loved our experience. The location is ideal, not too far from Manuel Antonio, Dominical and very close to beautiful waterfalls. The pool area is really well appointed and is a big plus. We were also able to observe 2 toucans from our balcony while having our breakfast. Melissa and Said are very available and you feel at home.

The place is great and they take care of every detail necessary for guests to have a great time!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in CR! Amazing location with beautiful views of surrounding mountains and the ocean. Just a 20min drive to the beach and walking distance (3 miles) to Elysiana waterfall which I HIGHLY recommend. While leaving the waterfall & hiking to the view point my partner and I saw a PUMA hanging out on the trail. Luckily we scared it as much as it startled us so it silently scurried off real quick. HIGHLY recommend this adorable, cozy, clean cabin! Great communication from the host & easy self entrance & exit. Hope to be back soon! Gracias!!

We are delighted with our stay at Auxilliadora's, the cottage was very clean and welcoming and Auxilliadora's mom was very responsive to our requests. We'll be back with pleasure. Anne and Juliette

Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

I only have one word for this place: BEAUTIFUL! The Location is a perfect place to get lost a couple days. you can walk around the place or take a tour with the local operator. The neighbors are so lovely (they call the door to give us some Easter snacks and homemade ice cream), so the place is extremely peaceful and you may see Crestones from there! About the cabin... no words, the pictures don't give enought credit to the place, it has plenty of room for an entire family. internet works perfect what make it great for nomads. Be prepared for nights under 10⁰C and fresh days, bring enough food & drinks because there's no shops nearby. Attention: you'll be in a rural township, so don't blame the place for the bugs and the noisy singing birds... you're invading them! The fridge is too tiny, definitely it's something to improve, we personally would love some ambient lamps on the living and rooms, and night tables at the bed's sides. ELSE... DON'T DOUBT TO GO THERE!

A place to relax, beautiful view and sunset. The cabin is just like the pictures. Lots to do in Copey: wine tour, coffee tour, a delicious gastronomic experience at Al mercat and a delicious Araminta coffee

Perfect central location big hill to get to it though, the cooking pans could do with being replaced as they were abit scratched and old, could do with more plates and knives also, was a very good host and helped out a lot when bbq ran out of gas it was replaced within an hour, not sure if its mentioned but the pool is shared I originally thought it wasn’t, other then that it was perfect and very safe with gates to get in and out

The small general stores for basic necessities are just a short walk away, making it convenient yet still wonderfully secluded. The wifi is strong and stable for remote workers. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to restore yourself or a quiet, inspiring place to work, this is absolute paradise.

The accommodation is worth it because it is at the end of a difficult road but once you arrive what a beautiful environment surrounded by mountains. The cabin offers large bay windows and a breathtaking panorama. Our host is welcoming and very accommodating. Definitely recommended.
