It is within walking distance (1.5mile) to Georgia O’keeffe home, nearby Rio Chama, hiking to nearby caves. 1 mile from Hunting road (CR189), nearby grocery store known as Bode's. 10 miles to the Abiquiu Lake. Relax on the screened portal and enjoy the music of the river with all its wildlife to entertain you. Old timers says this might be one of the best fly fishing spots on the river. Breathtaking natural beauty. 1,475 sq ft Casita, with views of Abiquiu Lake, the red cliffs surrounding Ghost Ranch, and the 10,000 ft mountain Pedernal, all which Georgia O'Keefe made famous in her paintings. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a Bosch gas stove with heavy gauge grills. There's a stainless BBQ just outside on the portal. The Master BR has a slate shower and deep soaking tub. Beautiful, comfortable studio, on lush property with ponds, wild life, shade trees, great views of Taos Mountain. Wifi available, no TV or radio. Beautiful retreat, peaceful, close to town. Perfect for one, pleasant squish for two. Two twin beds, one a trundle under the other. Full range, small fridge. Teas, coffee, basic condiments provided. Taos Ski Valley 45 minutes away, a 7 minute drive to the Plaza in town center. Well-behaved pets ok if you let me know.
