The nearest grocery store is 8 km away from the house, in Kvaløyvågen. The grocery store is open 10 am - 5:30 pm on weekdays and 10 am - 3 pm on Saturdays. If you want a store with more selection, the nearest is at Kvaløysletta.

The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . This house is situated in Balsfjord, about 60 km far from Tromsø. It has four bedrooms, a cozy livingroom with a fireplace, a big fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. From the big balcony you can enjoy beautiful sunsets on the fjord, great northern lights in the winter time and the midnight sun in the summer time.
