Here you will have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and extra shower, an outdoor sauna and a large terrace. We live 30 minutes drive from Tromsø city centre. This is a perfect place for families with children or others who want to stay close to nature. We strongly recommend that you have your own car, as public transportation here is very limited.

The residence is located in scenic and quiet surroundings north of Kvaløya, approx. 25 minutes drive from Tromsø city center. The rental part consists of a kitchen, living room and bathroom, and four bedrooms in the attic. Great views of Kvalsundet from the kitchen/living room. Popular area to see the northern lights. The nearest grocery store is 8 km away from the house, in Kvaløyvågen. The grocery store is open 10 am - 5:30 pm on weekdays and 10 am - 3 pm on Saturdays. If you want a store with more selection, the nearest is at Kvaløysletta.

Great views and a quiet area where you can enjoy idyllic mountains and natural surroundings. The Northern Lights season is from September to April. If the weather is clear, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many unique destinations on foot and by boat that the host can inform about if needed and have maps available in the house.

An easy starting point for hikes in the mountains, at sea and in the cultural landscape. Relax in close contact with our sociable sheep and lambs. Possibility of hiking equipment, backpack, thermos, seat pad, etc. The hot tub is ordered separately, NOK 1200/EUR 120. Booking at least 4 hours in advance. Lambing from mid-April to the first week of May - possibility to see the little lambs and the proud mothers.

Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.
