Mellomgaard is located in a quiet area of Sør-Kvaløya. The house is of high standard, with bedrooms located separately on each side of the house. Here, you'll find a harmonious atmosphere in a rural setting, free from noise, light pollution, and traffic, while still being close to nearby prepared ski slopes, Tromsø city center, and nearby natural attractions. We have our own shoreline with sand and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Mellomgaard is about a 25-minute drive from Tromsø Airport and 35 minutes from Tromsø city center. The house is located on a farm with two other separate living units, you are our only guests. It has the highest position on the property, offering fantastic views. In the summer, a boat for fishing or day trips can be rented upon request. The nature in Northern Norway is stunning, with countless hiking trails and peaks to explore. During the dark season, you can see the Northern Lights from our backyard without light pollution from the surroundings. The area offers excellent opportunities for fantastic nature experiences, with a chance to spot eagles, reindeer, moose, and other wildlife living in the Arctic climate—sometimes right outside the door. You can also book a dog sledding trip, just a 10–15 minute drive away from 3 different companies, or enjoy a horseback ride or carriage ride! On our farm, we have two horses of the Nordlandshest/Lyngshest breed. This is one of three fully Norwegian horse breeds listed as endangered on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Our horses, Frost and Peer, are happy to welcome guests by appointment. In the area, you'll also find the popular Hella outdoor area, with old buildings, great fishing opportunities, and a café in the summer. Here, you can fish from the rocks, watch boat traffic up close, grill, or visit ancient rock carvings nearby. We’re happy to recommend great hiking destinations and experiences in the area! We can assist with directions and have created a guide that we’d love to share with you before your arrival, so you can easily navigate to activities and experiences that will make your vacation perfect!

Fredheim, house by the sea in Skulsfjord/ Tromsø

Recharge your batteries at this unique and peaceful accommodation. A 25-minute drive from Tromsø, in a small village called Skulsfjord, you will find this cozy little house by the sea. Amazing views and a quiet area where you can enjoy idyllic mountains and natural surroundings. The Northern Lights season is from September to April. If there is clear weather, it will dance in the sky directly from the living room window. Many good destinations for walking and by boat that the host can provide information about if needed, and maps are available in the house.

The residence is located in scenic and quiet surroundings north of Kvaløya, approx. 25 minutes drive from Tromsø city center. The rental part consists of a kitchen, living room and bathroom, and four bedrooms in the attic. Great views of Kvalsundet from the kitchen/living room. Popular area to see the northern lights. The nearest grocery store is 8 km away from the house, in Kvaløyvågen. The grocery store is open 10 am - 5:30 pm on weekdays and 10 am - 3 pm on Saturdays. If you want a store with more selection, the nearest is at Kvaløysletta.

Liv's beach house is located on idyllic Bøvær with a fantastic sandy beach. Relax in calm surroundings with the sound of the waves. The house has fiber, perfect for home office. From the balcony you can enjoy incredible sunsets and flaming northern lights. Along the sea road to Skaland - 4 km - the nature experiences are in line - white sandstones - sea and mountain formations. Skaland offers a cafe, a great grocery store and a local pub. Detached house by a farmyard, close to the sea, lovely views. Perfect place for recreation, relaxation, peace and quiet. An easy starting point for hikes in the mountains, at sea and in the cultural landscape. Relax in close contact with our sociable sheep and lambs. Possibility of hiking equipment, backpack, thermos, seat pad, etc. The hot tub is ordered separately, NOK 1200/EUR 120. Booking at least 4 hours in advance. Lambing from mid-April to the first week of May - possibility to see the little lambs and the proud mothers.

Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Du kan se noen av fjellene i Lyngen Alps fra huset. Her nyter du stillhet, avslapping, midnattssol på sommeren og nordlys og arktisk flott himmel på vintertid. 10 minutters kjøretur fra flyplassen og 20 minutter i bil fra huset til Tromsø Sentrum. Perfect apartment for larger groups and family

The apartment is a part of a semi detached house, and rooms up to 12 people. Perfect for family vacations and larger groups. Very spacious with own porch and a lovely view over Tromsø. The bus terminal is 1 km. away, and a small shuttle bus serves the area during peek hours. There is free parking with room for several cars. We recommend renting a car. The house is close to a flood-lit track for hiking enthusiasts. It has a sauna which guests are welcome to use.

It’s about 50 km from Tromsø Airport and 5 km from Sommarøy, with a grocery store and ferry to Senja within walking distance. The property features a large outdoor area, a 50 sqm terrace, and ample parking. Perfect for families, the cabin is equipped with cribs, a high chair, and toys for indoor and outdoor use. A fire pit with a fire pan is also available.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
