Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

House by the sea near Tromsø with panorama views

We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Cozy modern cottage with great northern light view

Beautiful modern cottage with a spectacular view from the livingroom. Very good location to see the lights from the window or the garden, as you can see in the pictures. Sometimes even the northern lights guides stops by our cabin because it a good place to se the lights. The drive from the airport is 22 km. The kitchen is modern with everything you should need We have a big bathroom with shower, toilet and a hot sauna. 3 bedroom. Please read and follow the house rules

Koselig gammel hus - Grandmas – Oldstyre house. Kraknes på Kvaløya. 16 km fra Tromsø sentrum. Her kan du nyte flott natur både sommer og vinter. Utsikt mot magiske fjell og innseiling til Tromsø by. Du kan se noen av fjellene i Lyngen Alps fra huset. Her nyter du stillhet, avslapping, midnattssol på sommeren og nordlys og arktisk flott himmel på vintertid. 10 minutters kjøretur fra flyplassen og 20 minutter i bil fra huset til Tromsø Sentrum. New, great cabin with a lovely view!

About this place: The cabin is brand new and special. In the kitchen and living room there are large windows and very high ceilings. The view is therefore spectacular and has to be experienced. You can hear and see the sea from the terrace, because the cabin is only 50 meters from the sea. You can park your car almost completely next to the cabin. It is therefore very easy to use the cabin. You can carry your luggage right into the cabin.

Experience the northern lights from a spectacular cottage overlooking Kvalsund with only 25 min drive away from Tromsøya. With a quiet and great setting, you can relax in this lovely cabin. Experiencing the northern lights and wildlife from the window is everyday from this cabin. Several sleeping places in the loft as well as a bedroom make this a perfect accommodation for a group of up to 7 people.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
