1100sf, single story guest house that's a couple minutes from the town of Rifle, yet backs up to vast open space. Sheltered from view of the highway by trees, boasts tremendous sunsets over the Roan Cliffs, and views of the Hogbacks and Mamm Peak. "R Farm" is a developing farm w/ sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. The guest house is adjacent to our family home and near the barn. The inside of the cabin provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, while the outside boasts gorgeous views and a variety of wildlife. While you visit, make sure to take advantage of the hiking, fishing, rafting, and skiing that is in the area. Please note, this cabin is located 8 miles from the freeway. The 15 minute scenic drive is worth it!!!

The Solargon

The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun.
