The 183 Roadhouse

Great value and wonderful family road house! The perfect spot if you’re single, a couple or have a small family. Very peaceful and clean. The owners are great, always available to help and answer questions but gave us our space and privacy. Highly recommended!

Riverside Haven on Llano River | Stargaze & Relax

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had no idea how lovely the Llano river is, and totally enjoyed being so close and accessible to swimming, kayaking & just hanging out in the water. Smokeless fire pit was nice in the evening. Other than a back country road drive we stayed on-site the entire time. We had the place to ourselves. Tiny home was equipped with all we needed to cook, grill and keep our beer cold. Castell is a quick drive for a hearty burger and really friendly locals. Highly recommend. Check in was easy. Kayaks onsite were an awesome bonus so we didn’t have to haul ours. We absolutely want to return and maybe stay in the other little house next door!

Cute updated 2 bedroom house.

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This home and its surrounding area was beautiful! I don't think the pictures did it justice. The living room was very comfortable and cozy. The picture window looked out on a very fresh and very green landscape. Lake Buchanan was still down some so the pier was overlooking a beautiful green meadow that invited hiking. Again, the kitchen, dining room and bedroom were spotless and thoughtfully decorated. The only drawback was after driving through a thunderstorm at night it was a little difficult finding the house. The next morning (an absolute pristine morning) I realized I had been driving around and past it all the time. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful homey place for us to stay.

What a unique stay! Instructions were super clear on how to arrive, even in the dark, the spot was lite up nice and bright for us to see. You’re glamping in a field so expect bugs at night if your not careful with the door! Portable a/c and fan kept the tent at a comfortable temp! Bed was comfy and bathroom facility was really convenient and clean!
