Cabin on the River

Get back to nature in our one room cabin with lots of comfort. Located next to the famous Regency Bridge the States last functioning swinging bridge. There is a small private RV park nearby that rents out an small camper which would allow you to have more guests come and stay next door. The river is on the property with steps down to the water perfect for kayaking or fishing. When the water level is down hiking the river bed is a great time. We do have 2 paddle boards available to rent as well.

Situated on a large lot with mature trees, the home is two blocks from downtown San Saba and boasts over 2,700 square feet, three bedrooms, two updated bathrooms, a large kitchen, covered porches, and dedicated work space with high speed internet. There is a large circle drive or street space available for those who need trailer/equipment parking. The home was built in 1877 for John Guion, who served as San Saba county judge and was president of the Texas A&M board of directors from 1914-1918.

This 2 bedroom unit is located 1 block from downtown, walking distance to Harry's, Wedding Oak Winery, Oliver Pecan, and Bar D Brewhouse. This room is spacious and has great accommodations for your coffee in the morning and heating up your breakfast in the microwave. We also have a covered awning on the front with chairs and a spot you can put a small BBQ pit and cook outside if you like. You will find this room very clean, with much parking and great accommodations. We do not allow pets.
