Coedfa Hall and the small adjoining house exceeded expectations - it is the most beautiful old house, full of character and charm with more than a dollop of old-world glamour and grandure....everything felt so special and yet we felt right at home. Our host had clearly thought so carefully about meeting guests' needs, with everything you need for a big family get together - well-equipped kitchen, amazing dining room, roaring fires, comfy sofas and a beautiful garden with multiple scenic sitting spots. Such a fantastic place, and amazing walks direct from the house! We will be back for another multi-generational gathering very soon!

Gwynaeth Gwyn-Swimming pool, hot tub and sea views

ChloeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed here over February half term as a family get away of 12 people. The house was warm, cozy and inviting. It was like being at home. The upstairs lounge with views over the sea was a real show stopper! 10-15 minute walk to the beach and stunning views all around. Hosts were great with sorting a heating issue before we even arrived, great communication. Would highly recommend, and will be revisiting in warmer months to enjoy the pool.

This was the third year we have stayed here and, as previously, everything was straight-forward and worked very well. A great location for days on the beach and within easy walking distance of places to eat and the local pub. Ideal for our extended family with two young children and we will be looking to go again in the future. Host was friendly and accommodating, overall highly recommended.

Very lovely place to stay. The house is clean and tidy and it’s better than I expected. The host is nice and kindly recommend the place to visit nearby. The only thing have to aware is the car parking. It is not very wide just like other comments said, it’s not easy to park in especially if your car is big.

Barley Twist House - Port Sunlight

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We recently stayed for a week in this delightful cottage in Port Sunlight to see Bruce Springsteen and it was a truly wonderful experience. The property was impeccably clean, making it feel instantly welcoming and comfortable. It was clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a high standard. Speaking of the hosts, they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly addressed, which added to the ease of our stay. Their attentiveness made us feel well cared for throughout. The location is what sets this cottage apart. Nestled in the heart of Port Sunlight, a village steeped in history and charm, it provided a unique setting you won’t find anywhere else. The surroundings were peaceful and picturesque, perfect for leisurely strolls. Additionally, the location offered fantastic access to Liverpool by train, making it ideal for exploring the city’s attractions while enjoying a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Spacious 5 bedroom chapel.

VickyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were blown away on entering the building. Photos didn’t do it justice on how big it was. It was very clean and tidy and we felt at home straight away. Lots of empty kitchen cupboards and wardrobes to store ‘stuff’ away keeping the place tidy throughout the stay. Very stylish, modern decor throughout. Amazing extras of the hot tub and pool table which we made full use of. We were staying with family, the house was perfect for group games/ spending time together. We had a BBQ in the garden where there is artificial grass; perfect for kids to play in all weather. The numerous rooms and areas made it perfect for a large group of people to do their own thing at times or have some down time. Fully equipped kitchen and utility. We would definitely revisit and would recommend.
