Pen Y Garreg 1770, cottage , hot tub, north wales

TonyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We recently stayed at this beautiful old miner’s cottage and honestly didn’t want to leave! It’s full of character, with so many lovely original features that give it so much charm, but with all the modern comforts to make the stay really relaxing. The hot tub was absolute perfection — there’s nothing quite like unwinding in the warm bubbles while taking in the peaceful surroundings. But what really made it extra special was the steam train that passes right by the garden — such a magical and unexpected treat! Hearing the whistle and watching it go by felt like being transported to another time. The cottage was spotless, super cozy, and clearly very well looked after. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into making it a special place to stay. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable, peaceful getaway with a little touch of magic.

Bwthyn Llwynog-Mountain escape

LynneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a brilliant fortnight we had - two weeks of warm sunshine. After a day out we would say 'let's go home' and that's what the cottage meant to us. Private, quiet, fantastic landscape, charming cottage with everything we needed. Cuckoos, ravens, buzzards, warblers, wagtails, and sheep with their lambs. Wonderful!
A spacious dining area features a wooden table set for a meal, surrounded by several wooden chairs. A large, rustic beam spans above the cozy log burner, which is elegantly set against a white wall. Light enters through a window, blending with a vase of flowers on the kitchen counter.

Lovely house and garden area with hot tub with great view! We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children so perfect size for us. Could feel a little cramped if 6 adults as only one bathroom and not enough seating for 6 in the living room but lovely big table in the dinning area. Great that there is a washing machine and dishwasher (don’t forget tablets though as not provided). Nice park with football goal and play equipment which our children enjoyed visiting about 10 min walk away. We also did a 5k walk from the house to waterfalls. We found this on the Komoot app which id recommended. Watkins path for Snowdon hike was about a 25 min drive, which took us through Beddgelert which is a nice village to stop off at. Also about 20 mins from Harlech beach which is stunning! Had a fantastic holiday, would recommend the house as a base for exploring the area and so lovely to come back to the hot tub in the evening.

Little Cott - Cosy Welsh Cottage, Peaceful Village

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is very well equipped and everything worked well. Good heating and hot water system. Very comfortable rooms. Very quiet, friendly neighbours. Good parking. It's very well situated for exploring Snowdonia and the nearby coastline. Very pleasant, quiet village. All in all, just right for our (my daughter and I) 5 night stay. Communications with Eleanor and David were very good.

Wonderful place with gorgeous views, comfortable home and right in the small village! Only struggle was finding the place but Geoff was extremely helpful and made sure to send us directions right to the place (google is just unreliable in this area :) ). Hope to stay again!

Amazing sea/mountain view-beach 10 minute walk

CarolineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most wonderful week in Karen’s cosy bungalow with our 3 year old daughter Willow. It was truly stunning. The views of the beach, the sea and the mountains are breathtaking. We saw an amazing sunset from the garden six out of our seven nights there. The bungalow was spotless and we received a lovely welcome hamper and some delicious cheese on our arrival. The bed linen was so soft. Karen is such a lovely host and gave us clear instructions on how to find the bungalow and answered questions straight away. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Karen’s bungalow and I cannot recommend it highly enough. She even came to say hello just before we went home. We have already booked for the sane week next year.
