We have two selfcatering units on our property, Protea Plekkie/Place (this listing, 4 guests max) and Protea Hoekie/Corner (seperate listing, 2 guests). Ideal for overnight stop when traveling the N3 or N5, or for a comfortable longer stay when visiting our area for business or leisure. Eastern Freestate charm is found in abundance around here!

Elm Tree Garden Cottage

Rose Garden Manor House B+B Sitting in the shade of a 150 year old Elm tree with a view of Platberg Mountain and sleeping in one of Harrismith’s historical landmarks is a treat. Harrismith is the gem of the Free State, the gateway to the Drakensberg. The Rose Garden manor house was built in 1895 and is owned and run by David and Gill Weaver who have maintained the tradition of a classic B+B so you get to experience life with a South African family.

The Stone Cottage

This cosy stone cottage was built in 1902 by the first Dillons on Waterfall Farm. Now totally refurbished but with all the original charm, it offers the most unique farm stay. The iconic Waterfall on a pristine stretch of the Wilge River is a short walk away.
