David was an extremely gracious host and he has a lovely property nestled in a mountain valley. There are lakes, wildlife, beautiful walks around the private and secluded neighborhood. What a beautiful and cozy home in a wonderful location. The home provided everything we needed. Caroline was a great host proving us with detailed info prior to arrival and checked in on us during our stay. Great access to trails and fishing. We had a moose visit us during our stay which was awesome!

We've stayed at this place more than once, it is extremely cozy with lovely views and great nature just outside the door. Our family enjoys just relaxing and playing board games and sitting by the fire here.

I booked this cabin for a week long trip with a large group. I would absolutely recommend this location to groups big and small. The house has everything you could ask for with backyard views you can’t put a price on. The host is very active with communicating and response time. We had one minor issue and it was resolved very quickly. If you’re on the fence, if you ask me, go for it. You absolutely will not regret it.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin in Grand Lake, Colorado! The space was clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for a relaxing mountain getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to a warm fireplace. Peaceful location, close to the lake and trails. Highly recommend for couples or small families looking for a quiet retreat with all the right touches.

What a wonderful cabin for a girl’s hiking trip! Karen & Scott were wonderful hosts! They are highly communicative, friendly & unobtrusive. The cabin is spotless, well-furnished with comfy mattresses & pillows, extra blankets for cool nights, & everything you need in the kitchen. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and several baskets of snacks, including all you need for s’mores. The hot tub was spotless and easy to use— and the stars were spectacular! Comfy mornings on the deck with coffee & evenings around the firepit bracketed some amazing hiking in RMNP, nice dining out, shopping & much-needed catching up/girl time. The cabin is 5 minutes from RMNP as just as close to the everything you might need from town and we loved the wildlife that appeared all around the deck. The 2 bed/2 bath setup gave us each lots of space & privacy. Thank you for a lovely stay, you guys! We hope to return.

Loved this cozy, little home! The space is small but very well utilized making it feel bigger and creating a very comfortable space. All amenities are available on site and it’s about a half hour from central city and Casinos in Blackhawk. Very peaceful and a great place for a get away in the mountains!

This cabin exceeded all expectations. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by an impeccably clean space, thoughtfully stocked with numerous amenities including a full set of dishes, an iron, makeup wipes, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The view was truly exceptional—we were delighted to wake up each morning to elk grazing just outside, along with sightings of other wildlife. The setting was remarkably peaceful, free from the noise of traffic or loud music. Its proximity to the Stanley Hotel and downtown ensured easy access to dining options and local attractions. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, contributing greatly to the overall positive experience.

We booked this cozy little cabin for our honey moon and it was absolutely perfect! When we arrived we met the host Tom who is very personable and kind, he helped us get settled in and offered some great recommendations in the area! When I walked into the cabin I was absolutely enamored with all the thoughtful little details throughout, it was very clean and we felt at home right away! Outside of the cabin there’s a porch swing. perfect for relaxing, painting, great place to smoke, and you get a PERFECT view of the mountains. The property is filled with so much wildlife - magpies, hummingbirds, mule dear, prairie dogs. The hot tub was so relaxing and a great place to relax and look at the sky! There were even two very cozy complementary robes for us to wear and we stayed snuggled up all week :) If you love nature and you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing trip with fast access to Estes park and the comfort of great hosts this is the place!!

Absolutely would stay here again and recommend! Beautiful spot! Very modern and clean! Close to a lot of great activities such as hikes, restaurants, distilleries, breweries, ice cream, the Stanley Hotel, downtown Estes, etc. The one ask would be slightly better toilet paper, but that’s pretty minor! Great kitchen, bathroom, plenty of sleeping spots, hot tub, fire pit, grill, old video game systems, and a record player (with records) and Bluetooth! Quick and helpful responses too!

Molly was an amazing host! We had a hiccup on our second night and she quickly got back to us on how to resolve it despite the late hour. The house was immaculate and so cozy! We will definitely be returning and I recommend “Mary’s Lake Cabin” to everyone!

If you’re like us, staring at multiple mountain cabins looking for the right one, just do yourself a favor and book this place. It’s beautiful, peaceful, has wonderful amenities and is absolutely worth it.

A stay at Anne's is like stepping back through different layers of time. The house itself is old, a true authentic miner's mountain cabin! It felt like a stay at Grandma's - cozy, quiet, and antique - yet with modern amenities. A fully equipped kitchen for those seeking to cook. Most of our time was spent either outside in the beautiful and peaceful yard by the creek, or inside on the window bench seat. The bed was very comfortable too! We had two dogs with us, and they enjoyed it also. We tried out the hike nearby and it was perfect with how close it is to the cabin. To get a full understanding of what you are renting you should recognize this is not a commercial sanitized rental operated by a company! This is truly like staying at a grandparents cabin, with it's own quirks and charm. The previous reviews all do a good job describing the area and the house - windy roads, cyclists, nature, and all else that comes with a trip to the mountains of Boulder. We loved our stay!

This cabin was the highlight of our Colorado vacation. It felt like we had a piece of the mountain to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the area. The river and bridges on the property were amazing, and we loved the views from the hot tub. Everything was very clean and comfortable. After we checked out, we spent a few nights in Estes Park at the Rocky Mountains National Park, but that couldn’t compare to our stay in this cabin! This location was everything we wanted and more. If you’re planning a Colorado trip you should absolutely stay here, it was better than the RMNP, and that’s saying a lot! My family would absolutely love to return to this cabin on a future trip. Alexandra was awesome too. Very responsive and flexible, offering early check in and late check out options, as well as recommending things to do in the area. Overall, this was a wonderful stay, 10/10 would recommend and 5 stars from the whole family! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem in Colorado!!!

Loved this cozy place!! It had everything we needed. Town is only a 20 minute drive if you need anything. There are many activities to do but we mostly hiked. We hiked up St. Mary’s Glacier and up Yankee Hill Trail and there is so much beauty in the area!! Absolutely breathtaking views, all around the cabin. The deck was our favorite place to sit and the outdoor fire pit was an unexpected bonus! Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

Darin made us feel right at home with clear and easy Instructions about how to fnd the house and everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. The location can not be beat! It is a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The fenced yard was so nice to have for our 2 dogs. we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Grand Lake, just minutes from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. The cabin itself was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of games and activities that kept our kids entertained throughout our stay. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel right at home. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind — especially when we ran into an unexpected flat tire. They were flexible and allowed us a late checkout so we could sort things out without stress, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this cabin for families or anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful mountain getaway with caring hosts and easy access to nature!

We had a great, quiet weekend stay! This cozy cottage was so close to the lake, hiking and downtown. It was such a relaxing sweet house and area. The perfect place to close out the season and see some last colorful leaves. the little snafu at check in (not their fault!) was handled quickly and worked out fine. both Tim and Pam were very responsive, accessible and helpful. We would love to come back for another getaway.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Comfortable beds and nice amenities. 20 minutes up hill from quaint town of Idaho Springs. We enjoys watch a large moose right outside the cabin one early evening.
