This was the perfect location for us while attending an event just seven miles away. The instructions for finding the cabin, which we had to do in the dark, were very helpful. They even included pictures! The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. It was nice to have the pellet stove going when we arrived, which gave a comfy glow to the house. Unfortunately, we forgot to feed the pellet stove before we went to bed and it went out. Not to worry, there were other heating systems which kept the cabin toasty warm. It is a quirky little cabin, with stairs here and there and light switches in odd places, but everything is well marked and labeled. The setting, right on the lake is stunning. Unfortunately, our event kept us away from 7am to 7pm, so we only saw it in the dark. I hope we can come back in the summer and truly take it in.

Catherine was great! Despite us being late, she still was helpful and really kind. We really enjoyed all the accommodations, snacks, amenities, etc. She was great and the place was awesome.
A modern kitchen area is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator and microwave. White cabinetry contrasts with dark accents, while a decorative sign with inspirational words adorns the wall. A small potted plant adds a touch of greenery to the space.

The little house

First, this place was VERY clean, comfortable and perfect for a quick stop ever. So, no matter what I say after this, please know how clean and safe the neighborhood was. It’s perfectly Between Enumclaw and Black Diamond and while the check in instructions weren’t the easiest thing ever, the host was responsive and all was well. There shower is amazing, the bed is firm and the space was bright and clean. The pillows are very flat so if you need thicker pillows just bring your own, there is no controlling the heat. It was fine for us, but just be aware. It was very enjoyable waking up to the sounds of nature (ducks, roosters etc…) and while you can hear people above you, we didn’t find it to be awful. Great stay and if we need to again in the future we’d love to come back

From the moment Michael and Claudia greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, I knew it was going to be a wonderful stay. Their home is spotless, well-organized, and fully stocked with all the essentials. Michael and Claudia are not only flexible and accommodating but truly care about making sure guests have the best possible experience. Everyone in the house was respectful and friendly, which made the environment even more welcoming. During my week-long stay, Michael and Claudia took me to a couple of great restaurants around Seattle, and we had a good time hanging out. I'm grateful to have met them—they're not just great hosts, but new friends I’m glad to have made in Seattle.

Lakefront Cottage in S Cascade Foothills

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. It is waterfront with a private dock. Wendy has furnished everything from inside the house to out. There is plenty of kitchenware for use. There are kayaks and lifevests at the pier for use as well. The lakeside view paired with the mountain that overlooks the lake is fantastic. There was plenty of fish in the lakes. I highly recommend this cabin if you enjoy hiking as it is very central to Mount Rainier NP, Snolquamie, Mount Baker, and Seattle area. I would definitely book this again.
