Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? 6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Risso`s Pod. Broadbay is baby dolphin hotspot.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Wave Break Apartment (Self catering)

For 2026 season dates are released every few weeks! Our 1.5 storey self contained apartment is aimed at maximising sea views, light & space. Inspired by the landscape and culture, style and decor also focuses on comfort and versatility. Wave Break Apartment comfortably accommodates two adults & an infant or older child. We can host 3 adults on request. We have twin beds, a cot and a fold down bed. Croft noise such as dogs, cats, machinery and children playing can be heard at times.

The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Tigh A'Mhuillin (The Mill House) is a lovely detached home close to picturesque coastal villages (5 miles from Shieldaig and 17 miles from Applecross), with shops and pubs. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.
