The host was very polite and responsive. The location was amazing. We found everything we expected and had a great time in the cottage.

The six of us had a wonderful time at this place. Very friendly and helpful owners! We also enjoyed the animals on the property, especially the sweet dog. Would come back again anytime!

We had a great time in Ari’s property. Everything is perfect and fully equipped, it is a warm and beautiful place. We walked around and also feed horses, it was fun. We will definitely come again if we visit Iceland in the future.

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jón Bjarni’s place. The location is both peaceful and breathtaking, offering the perfect base for a cozy escape in the South Iceland wilderness. The house was warm, inviting, and ideally situated—just a short drive from the main sights of the Golden Circle. Jón was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was just right for our stay.

This house was our most beautiful and comfortable on our two-week tour of the Ring Road. The amenities are high quality, but cozy. Nothing is missing here! The hot tub on the terrace is also a dream. Our best experience was the Northern Lights. All around there is no light pollution, the terrace goes around the house, the ideal place for the aurora. Beautifully quiet location, close to the Golden Circle and Reykjavik. From here you can make many excursions. Many thanks to Sigurdur for the friendly and smooth communication! ❤️

What a wonderful place and in the perfect location for exploring the Golden Circle. The house was plenty big for the eight adults in our group, and we were all able to spread out, but also come together for meals and games. Although we didn’t use it, the hot tub was a great amenity. Our host was wonderful and very responsive when I contacted her with a question before booking and also when I needed to turn off the security system. We would highly recommend staying here.

This stay was our highlight of Iceland! The house was lovely and well equipped. The hot tub was great every evening after returning from our excursions. The tramp and horses were a highlight for the kiddos! Sara is super responsive.

The Mountain Villa was fabulous - all 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were very well equipped and perfect for our needs. The sulphur smelling showers took a bit of getting used to but overall everything worked well including the sauna and hot tub. We even enjoyed playing with the a few games in the garden. We also loved sitting in the glass dome in the evenings - another fabulous feature of the house. Very highly recommended as a base to relax and to explore this amazing country!!

The house was extremely cozy and comfortable. The sauna is definitely a plus! The hot tub had an issue and Hannes immediately offered us an extra night for free. He was very responsive and friendly. The gaming room is way more fun than it looks at first glance, and the price is totally worth it for what it offers.

It's our third trip to Iceland and this is our favourite Airbnb so far. The surroundings is beautiful and quiet. The house itself is wonderful, comfortable and very clean. The hosts have really put in a lot of thought and effort to ensure that we have a great experience and want for nothing. Highly recommended!

Spacious, comfortable and very clean apartment. Equipped with every comfort, including an outdoor Jacuzzi. A strategic location for reaching the main attractions in the south of the island. Highly recommended!

This house is amazing… it stood out among 3 airbnbs we used this trip… comfortable, well stocked (foosball, great kitchen amenities, quality towels linens and beds) and in an exquisite location on a small cliff with great panoramic views of far-off snow capped mountains. Hosts were responsive when we tripped the circuit breaker and helped us quickly get power back. I have literally zero complaints and so many things i lived about this house!!! Many thanks to these gracious hosts!

AMAZING!!! Runar’s place was even better than we could have imagined. The Northern Lights were extremely visible to the naked eye 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. The back deck was lovely to watch Aurora dance in the sky. The furniture and bed (we only used 1 of the 4) were extremely clean and comfortable! To our surprise, the bathroom floor was heated, which was a lovely touch! We absolutely loved our stay here. It was extremely peaceful and secluded but also so close to town. We have already started talking coming back to Iceland and staying here again. It is the perfect home in the perfect location on the Golden Circle.

We felt very comfortable in this sweet vacation home. The house was furnished with a lot of love for detail and had a beautifully large terrace for the children to romp, including a trampoline and zip-line. From there, we could easily reach many excursion destinations. Thanks for letting us enjoy such a pleasant stay with you.

What a place. As a fan of tiny homes, this one was up there. Amazing view, sauna, hot tub, beautiful inside. Nothing more you need. Anna the host is awesome as well. Super nice and helpful. Really fast to respond and offered me an extended check out without even asking. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will be back again. %100

Very good stay, the hot tub on arrival after a cool day was very much appreciated. Spacious accommodation and small +: dishwasher in the kitchen!

I’m so grateful that I booked this apartment. Maria was outstanding, very attentive, responded always quickly and she even bake us a delish dessert. Cabin is exactly as described. Bed is good, space is beautiful and I was able to see the auroras from the cabin. Cabin is near the restaurant area of the city and lots of the amazing waterfalls that Iceland has to offer. This was a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks for everything!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was perfect! Very spacious and clean! Had a hot tub, which was nice to go into after hiking all day. The host was also very nice and helpful! She rechecked the place for me when I thought I left something at the place. The views were also amazing!! If we ever go back to Iceland, my family and I will definitely be staying here again! :)

Lovely cabin we saw the Northern lights from the hot tub. private and quiet Relatively close to Golden Circle attractions Selfoss and Hella.

Very beautiful cottage, we could stay so relaxing and cozy mood. Especially warm waterspring bath of outside, it was so nice to relieve fatigue. I really recommend this cottage to other people.
