Totally renovated 160m² house in an exceptionally beautiful location by the Eyjafjoll mountains and a view to Vestmann islands, only two hours drive from Reykjavík. Fully equipped kitchen with spacious dining and living room offering time to relax after sightseeing. We are 5 living on our property Anna and Siggi (husband and wife), Einar (our son) and Ingveldur, woeking as a lawyer in the town Hvolsvollur. We were farmers but we quit the year 2000. Since 2016 we have been running a small accommodation with 11 studio in renovated outhouses , an old garage, a cowshed and a hay tower. All our studios have a private bathroom and a kitchenette. We provide coffee, tea, oil, salt, pepper and sugar

The cottage is just outside of Hella on the south of Iceland standing by the giving fishing river Ytri Rangá. It is easy to buy fishing licence nearby. It is a quiet place with a nice terrace where you can enjoy the marvelous nature.
