We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mia’s home . What a welcoming and peaceful environment, beautifully designed and decorated home that flexes a trophy fireplace in the middle of the living space. This place is great for group or even more private settings , there is nothing Mia doesn’t cater for. I had booked for my birthday celebration, a party of 10 and I look forward to booking with Mia again .

Awesome place to stay. Close to the city centre yet you would never say so at this beautiful home with a fantasy garden that surrounds one making one feel as if they are nowhere near the city

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. Claudette was so accommodating and made the transition seamless. She was quick with communication and very genuine and helpful. The cottage is clean and very spacious, in a very nice neighborhood. The area is lovely with cafes, shops, and Zoo lake very close by. Thanks so much Claudette!! Would recommend this stay to anyone.

Lufuno’s place is absolutely stunning, The home was very warm and welcoming, the linen is fresh, the entire house is clean and tidy. The estate is quiet, private and peaceful especially if you’re looking for a home away from home. The host was responsive and proactive, gave clear instructions. The host wasn’t available during our stay, however Kodi, the sister in law was and she too was very helpful, proactive and eager to assist at all times. My family and I had an amazing time here. Would highly recommend.✨

As a family of three, we absolutely loved staying here. It was so spacious and has everything you need, so we were very comfortable and enjoyed our 10 day stay. Mokaba is a great host, and was immediately responsive to all our requests. The area is quiet and safe, and there are nearby shops and parks in walking distance. Would absolutely stay again!

super logement dans un cadre magnifique, encore mieux que sur les photos. Elsabe et son mari At sont vraiment très gentils et prévenant. À l'écoute des besoins et de bons conseils. Leur accueil nous a beaucoup touché . Dans le logement ils avaient laissé quelques gâteries, très appréciable après l'arrivée depuis l'aéroport. Vous pouvez visiter le parc botanique qui se trouve juste à côté. Un centre commercial se trouve à proximité (10 min de voiture environ). Le quartier est sûr et tranquille.

10/10 would recommend. Pictures don’t do the place any justice. Julie was quick to respond to our texts. We have an awesome weekend. Only issue we had, was the wifi and the slow connection to the TV. We couldn’t watch a show without buffering but the wifi worked well on our cellphone devices.

Tanja's cabins were peaceful and private along the river and were well stocked with kitchen supplies. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. While there are several other cabins each felt as if we were all by ourselves. The rivers edge is walkable and fishable with many different water birds and we even saw an otter and kudu. This is a gem of a place (thw caretakers as well) and I highly recommend!

Truly a lovely and peaceful cottage! It's got everything you need + a nice yard. I like how the place is close to the mall, the dam, restaurants, and Aerial Cableway. Pieter is a wonderful host and there when you need him; very nice and wants to share all he knows about the area. Will definitely book again soon. We had a lovely stay!

We stayed with three couples at Ibis River Retreat and had two cottages. Both cottages were super private, have their own private jacuzzi, which we enjoyed a lot. We had a lovely Braai in the evening and took a nice walk down to the river in the morning. We also booked a couples massage down at the Pool, which we would 100% recommend! Already one night felt like a full holiday and we felt absolutely rested and will definitely come back next time we’re in South Africa! Especially being so close to Johannesburg Airport (50 minutes drive), but still feeling like out in the wild surprised me very positively!

The friendly staff, especially Ilse and Tanja, were welcoming and made sure our experience was flawless, adding to the overall sense of relaxation. Whether it was sipping coffee by the river in the morning or enjoying a soothing soak in the hot tub at night, this place offered the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and tranquility. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape to recharge and reconnect with your loved one, this cabin is an absolute must. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable stay!
