The Bluebird Nest: A Mountain Retreat

Lyle Jr.Rating, 5 stars5 days ago
This place is very secluded in the woods, very scenic! I saw a bunch of deer! It was very clean, WiFi was in and out, not a great signal downstairs where the bedroom is. Place was very clean, great for my short stay. One thing, which Michele did warn beforehand, there is no cell service for a mile or 2 when coming in. Waze took me up Howell Rd, which is not correct! If you are coming from the south on Rebels Creek Rd go past Howell and then a left on Castanea St. Very easy once I figured that out. Also make sure to get groceries beforehand. Your only real option is the Walmart in Spruce Pine, the Ingles has been closed since the hurricane. Overall a great stay! All brand new appliances and very pleasant! A+ Will definitely stay here again!

Cozy Cabin: Peaceful Haven in the Heart of Nature

VirginiaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
My boyfriend and I spent Valentine’s Day here and absolutely loved it! The cozy cabin was the perfect fit for two and is right beside the sheep pasture, which we really enjoyed. The host gave us a small tour upon entry, introduced the animals, and provided contact information. The cabin was in perfect condition with all the amenities we needed. Hosts were very kind and welcoming with their beautiful property. Look forward to coming back already! Great rate for a place like this as well.

Vintage Cottage

DavidRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Thank you to Tami for letting us book her house for the time we did! It really helped my father out in the aftermath of hurricane Helene. The house is very cute, and has really neat vintage appliances (I love the old fridge!). The area is quiet, the Internet works well, and the house has everything needed for a comfy stay.

A-Frame Chalet w/ Great Views. Hike & Explore!

Raven’s Roost was the perfect getaway for our family! We first booked with intent to ski/snowboard, but the weather didn’t cooperate with that plan. We rebooted for family time in the cozy cabin with great space to be together for dinner and games, but also space for quiet alone time! My family loves table tennis 🏓, a big bonus for us. We loved everything about Raven’s Roost and hope to visit again when the snow comes back. Colin was great to work with; responsive, friendly, with local recommendations…which we took advantage of. Highly recommend for cozy cabin getaway!

Pisgah Highlands Tree House * No cleaning fee*

KyleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I had a great time at the tree house. It is a perfect and peaceful stay if you’re looking to unplug. The instructions to get there are clear and I was able to find it easy, even at night. I recommend preloading or saving the directions because you will lose service before you get to boxturtle rd.

This tiny cabin was beautiful & comfy, the views and landscape (including a little stream) were awesome, and Phillip was a great host. We only stayed one night but the vibe was so positive and it stands out as one of the best nights of our travels.
