Skippers Hideout

A modern tidy studio with attached bathroom and kitchenette thats seperate from the main house. The bed is a queen size and theres a small table with two chairs as well. The kitchenette has basic bench top cooking facilities, a sink, toaster, kettle with a small fridge too. I run a fishing charter boat on a trailer out of the driveway too, so you might experience charter customers, fish and early or late noises during your stay. Only 14 minutes walk to town and 6 minutes walk to raglan wharf.

Raglan Township will take you just under 10 minutes by car, or if you’re able, it’s a wonderful walk of around 35 minutes, either along the beach on low tide, or the new footpath that’s just opposite our drive. You will also find Cala Cafe! Our whare is ideal for couples :)

Had a really gorgeous weekend at Alice’s place, so peaceful and private. I loved the open doors that looked out to the garden. Alice was a great host, friendly and responsive. The place was 4 minutes drive from Raglan centre so super easy to get around. Will be returning for a summer trip that’s for sure ☺️

Raglan Bungalow is a special place securely tucked in a peaceful and private oasis that is a mix between tropical beach vibes and comfy country home feel with indoor & outdoor living, connected to nature. The outdoor bathtub is magical especially when the cleansing rain pours. The beautiful decorative designs and kitchenette displays, layout of the bedroom, open outdoor space, living area were all incredibly delightful to experience. Bungalow has the best water pressure shower leaving one feeling super clean and refresh. There were days it was simply relaxing to stay in to enjoy the Bungalow. Many Thanks Sarah for your proactiveness, generosity, kindness!! Love your space!

Just the perfect lil cozy spot for Rest and Rejuvenate! To Release and Relieve stress. Very peaceful, quiet and private with amazing views both sunrise and sunset, fully recommend to any couple needing a lil getaway from the city life. Nikki was a really amazing host and very proactive to interact with during our stay.

This place was beautiful inside and out. Harriet was great with communication as well. We loved staying here and will definitely be back if in the area!

We had a lovely stay at Janetta’s bach. The house was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. It's in a quiet location yet still close to town, cafes, and surf beaches. Highlights included the large, sunny front deck, cozy beds, well stocked kitchen with all the gadgets that you need. The place felt like a home away from home. Janetta was a great host, and we’d happily stay again. Highly recommended!
