Welcome to Le Grand Rouge! Zitoune Room

Very good night in this property. Latifa, Jean Patrice's mother-in-law, is a wonderful host, very helpful and very nice. The accommodation is very beautiful, very clean with private bathroom. The bed is comfortable. Communication prior to our arrival and same day was clear. The location in the heart of the medina is very convenient for visiting the city. Everything was perfect. We can only recommend this place!
A traditional Moroccan living space showcases an intricately designed table surrounded by dark wooden chairs. Arched doorways frame the area, while a cozy seating arrangement is positioned nearby. A palm plant adds a touch of greenery, and a small kitchenette is visible in the background.

House, in the médina of Salé

Hajiba and Guy's Riad is located in a beautiful medina on the Sale side of Rabat. The location has an authentic and community feel to it, away from the main tourism sites (although just a short tram ride or boat ride away from them). The interior of the riad is beautiful with it being a newly built Moroccan home in a traditional style with all the amenities you would expect from a modern place - the perfect combination. Hajiba and Guy's hospitality was second to none with no request being too much. They gave guided tours, local recommendations and they made us feel like family. Best airbnb experience by far!
An inviting courtyard area features a tiled fountain surrounded by green foliage. Traditional architectural elements include arched doorways and intricately designed columns. Soft red seating is positioned nearby, enhancing the tranquil ambiance of the space.

Very nice riad, with 3 orange trees and 1 banana tree on the doorstep of our cottage. Peaceful environment with birdsong in the morning. Impeccable cottage to our liking. We slept very well. Comfortable beds. Extra breakfast. The riad is at the end of a street maze to cross in the medina. Not necessarily clean but authentic. Combined with a helpful and friendly host who picked us up on foot from the parking lot. We have a great memory of Meknes. Thank you!
A small desk is positioned next to a window adorned with intricate tiles. A refreshing drink and glasses are set on a tray, accompanied by a small decorative plant. Light curtains frame the window, allowing natural light to illuminate the workspace.

Entire house in the old town

We had a positive experience staying at this property, which is an authentic Riad-style house. It has a very traditional and rustic charm, designed to reflect the historical architecture of a real Moroccan Medina home. Please note, this is not a modern hotel—so don’t expect the luxury or polish of one. Instead, it’s ideal for those who appreciate cultural authenticity and want to immerse themselves in a more traditional Moroccan atmosphere. We chose this place because we were looking to experience a genuine Riad, and it delivered just that. The location is also quite convenient—within walking distance to local eateries (some meals as affordable as 20 MAD), shopping streets, the taxi stand, Rabat beach, the train station, local stores, and even the airport.
The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, including a coffee maker, toaster oven, and a microwave. A wooden countertop accommodates multiple items, while a clock and framed picture are positioned on the wall. Natural light filters through the window, creating a practical workspace.

A quiet street is captured during twilight, showcasing stone walls and tile flooring. A softly glowing lamp hangs above, illuminating the path. A bicycle is parked to the left, while an arched passage leads to an open area in the distance.
