The Old School at Luskentyre Lodge

Norman and Leona are very friendly and great hosts. The cottage was cosy clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is looking out to the most beautiful beach and scenery. 5min walk to beach. If you like peace and tranquility this is the place to stay. It's location is ideal to travel to other parts of the island. Norman and Leona are around if you need help with anything but they do not intrude on your privacy. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Thank you Norman and Leona we had an amazing holiday.

Greenbank/ Goodfellow Self Catering/ Bunavoneader

The cottage is in a wonderful location - spectacular views right from the front door. It was very cozy and comfortable. It is a great base for exploring the area (Harris is particularly rugged and scenic) and it was also possible to hike from the cottage itself. There is a lovely beach at the end of the road outside the cottage. It was very peaceful and we loved our time there.

Panoramic Sea Views - hot tub

LoganRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved staying at the Larch Shed! Hallin is a beautiful slice of Skye with much to do and is a little off the beaten path from the main tourist areas like Portree. Jane was very hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The Shed itself was exactly as described and very peaceful with an absolutely stunning view of the bay to start and end your day with. Everything was well appointed and we enjoyed the rustic decor. Highly recommend the YurtTea down the road for small breakfast and coffee, as well as nearby Stein Inn for amazing dinner. We also enjoyed Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan for dinner. Would recommend stopping at the co op on Forest rd in Portree for cooking provisions on your way up. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our return!

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

AmyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had the most incredible stay on the Isle of Skye, and our Airbnb cabin truly made the trip unforgettable. Tucked away in a peaceful, scenic spot, the cabin was cozy, beautifully designed, and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered—from the fully stocked kitchen and fluffy towels to the little touches like local guides and fresh coffee, and special touches celebrating our anniversary. Waking up each morning to panoramic views of the hills and sheep was something we’ll never forget. After long days of exploring Skye’s dramatic landscapes—Fairy Pools, Old Man of Storr, and Kilt Rock—it was such a treat to come back to a warm, inviting space where we could unwind and just soak it all in. We especially appreciated the extra amenities: fast Wi-Fi, a super comfortable bed, and even a breakfast kit which came in handy. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made us feel so welcome. If you’re visiting Skye, we couldn’t recommend this place more.
A wooden deck extends from the cabin, offering a view of the lush countryside and rolling hills. Distant mountains can be seen under a clear blue sky, while the working yard below features open spaces and animals grazing in the area.

The Stables Cabin

Everything you need is provided in the cabin. Very comfortable and a lovely place to stay. As described it is situated in a riding stable setting. Totally fine for us as this added to the authenticity of Skye.

Cottage by the sea

IanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved Berneray and the cottage. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and had everything you needed and the views from the garden and kitchen window were amazing. We were met by Lorna and Iain who gave us a warm welcome and were very accommodating. There were lots of great walks and beautiful scenery on Berneray and North Uist and the beaches were to die for. We would definitely recommend.

1 bed self-catering apartment in Tarbert- sleeps 2

PearlRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Excellent property. Very central in Tarbet . Easy to find. Good parking. Inside it was perfect- met all our expectations and all our needs. Spotless on arrival . Everything in house clearly labelled. Nicola responded very quickly to any queries we had. Was able to tell us where outdoor chairs were stored on the only sunny afternoon and we wanted to sit outside. Nicola is an excellent host.

Taigh John

HelenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
When we drove down the long, narrow, winding road through the moonscape of rocky hills we wondered if we had made a bad choice in booking this accommodation…and then we arrived and felt immediately comfortable and relaxed. Remote , yes but really only 15 minutes from the ferry and the Harris Hotel which became our favourite stop at the end of a lovely day out exploring exquisite beaches. Well equiped, spacious, quiet and so so peaceful we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
