The house is in a quiet, little village. It’s very peaceful and perfect for a chilled get away. Hugo was very friendly and always helpful. You will definitely need a car to get there.

Thank you Miguel! Your home went above and beyond our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. This is one of our favorite Air Bnb's to date. We will definitely be back and will also recommend friends to stay there. Thank you again!

Casa da Travessa - Almodafa - Tarouca

I recently enjoyed staying at Marta's house, which was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the charm and coziness of this beautiful house. The kitchen was absolutely amazing, with all the necessary equipment. The breathtaking views from the terrace on the second floor were a highlight of our trip. The BBQ area was equipped with everything required; I especially want to emphasize the cleanliness of the grill (I have not seen such cleanliness for a long time). I enjoyed hiking and exploring villages in the surrounding area, making the house's location ideal for relaxation and adventure. The host, Marta, was incredibly accommodating and attentive. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed, making the entire booking process and stay seamless. I would highly recommend the house to anyone seeking a peaceful and charming retreat. It exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning for another memorable stay. Thank you, Marta!

A perfect getaway to rest. Spacious, modern house with all the amenities. Daniela's parents were extremely welcoming. As an extra, I highlight the proximity to Mondim River Beach, which we found wonderful.
A charming wine cellar is illuminated by warm lighting, featuring stone walls and a dark ceiling. A round table set on a slate floor is surrounded by two orange chairs. Wine barrels are positioned against the walls, enhancing the cellar's rustic appeal.

Sara's Corner

Isabel was an exceptional host! We went on a quick visit to the Douro, because we had the half marathon on Sunday. The space is super cozy, with wonderful natural light and the sound of birds in the morning is soothing. Check-out is at 11 a.m., but we asked if we could do it later (for a fee) because we needed to change clothes after the race before returning. Isabel not only told us that we could leave when we needed to, but she didn't charge us anything for the extra hours. Without a doubt, a place to return to and this time to rest :) Thank you!
