Family-friendly vacation rentals in Quebec

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

Clean accommodation, very quiet neighborhood. They were very quick to respond to any of our questions.

The setting is exceptional, it feels like home, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Access to the river, availability of kayaks etc... the jacuzzi to relax with a great view. I would recommend this place and hope to be able to come back to enjoy it for longer.

This was our second stay at Kim and Scott's and we loved it again. Very private and peaceful cottage, right on the water. We brought out paddleboards and paddled the entire lake. Super cute place for two people.

We spent the weekend at this chalet with family, and it was a wonderful experience. The place was clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and perfect for relaxing, and the view was beautiful. We really enjoyed the time together and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for a calm family getaway!

Beautiful house located in the forest. Very quiet, easy to access. Accommodation for 8 people. Very well equipped.

We had a beautiful stay here. Being Muslims, privacy was our priority, and we found the place very suitable and private. Had all basic equipments and necessities. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, as well as the rooms with extra linens and towels. The host was friendly and quick to respond. She had given us all required instructions before our check in by message, which made our check in super easy. The patio had good seating also. With the pool, sauna, and hot tub, we were able to have a great stay Alhamdulillah. The pool was to open from June and we had our stay in the last week of May, and so we requested for pool access and the host was nice enough to let us use it. Would definitely consider coming here again!

This is the 5th year we have rented Stefano's cottage. I am hard-pressed to find anything negative to say. The cottage is spectacularly beautiful, inside and out. The architecture is decidedly modern, but clearly fits in the surroundings of trees and the lake. Inside it is very cozy with neutral colours and great for either relaxing with a book and a coffee (or a bottle of wine!), a games night or an outdoor BBQ after a swim, a paddle or a hike. It is superbly quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all, yet keep the creature comforts, grocer a short drive; walking trails nearby, lakes are everywhere and the autumn leaves are nothing short of spectacular. Stefano is very accommodating in terms of providing information or answering questions, if any. We love the place so much I am hesitating to give it such a good review for fear of lots of people discovering it - I want to keep it my own hidden gem. But Stefano deserves an excellent review. Thank you Stefano, as always.

I've read all the previous reviews because I wanted mine to be even more special. I don't have a pen as beautiful as most of these. But all I can tell you is that it was…….PARFAIT!!! The hosts were perfect , the refuge was perfect, the place was perfect, the trails were perfect, the deer was perfect... Thank you Denis and Diane, and see you next year for sure.

What a dreamy place to stay! We loved it. So stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully laid-out. Every detail was considered. The views are incredibly beautiful, the host is so responsive and considerate and it is just so comfortable. We loved the amazing windows and surrounding forestry. Near to Alice’s Coffee which was scrumptious and a nearby mini-horse farm. Bird watcher’s paradise. We loved our stay and would happily return and for longer. Obsessed with the decor!

Pleasant stay in this beautiful little refuge in the forest. The site is quiet and gives access to beautiful hiking trails. We'll definitely be back. 😊

Very nice place, nicely decorated, the setting is as incredible as the cottage itself. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchens are rather well-equipped. We really enjoyed staying there. The only small downside is that the bathroom partitions don't go up to the ceiling, which leaves little privacy when a person is in the toilet.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Great location, clean and spacious. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again.

The space is cozy and perfect for a nature retreat. Communication was clear and I was easily able to contact Jean-Thomas when I had trouble finding the place (in the middle of a snowstorm, I must say!). The surrounding trails are beautiful and well maintained!

Had a wonderful weekend at the lodge, can’t wait to go back! Cindy thought of every little thing, all the extra little details were perfect and so thoughtful.

A very good spot close to the mountain. A cute bar across the road, and the hot tubs were a great way to close the day.

We can’t thank Lisa enough for sharing her home with us, even though our stay was fairly short. Lisa was a very gracious host, very responsive, and very friendly. The cottage (and backyard) looks like it’s from a postcard - very picturesque. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing. The entire home was well equipped with everything we needed (cleaning supplies, condiments, towels, kitchen utensils etc.) and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows even better. Also, having the pool clean and the water nice and warm was the cherry on top! We look forward to visiting Lisa’s home again, and fully take in what the area has to offer. Thank you very much Lisa!

We loved our stay in this house ideally located to discover the Mauricie Park. The host was very responsive and warm, which immediately made us feel comfortable. It feels like home! The garden and veranda are real assets: perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. A very nice place that we highly recommend!
