The farm also has several areas where you can walk, read, paint, write - even talk to the animals. Just a short drive or a cycle ride from the gite you will find charming villages, historic landmarks, rivers, vineyards, medieval towns and a wide range of activities! Do as much or as little as you want.

The Meadows - Hot tub, Air Con + Heated Pool

This beautiful gite is a "home from home" experience where you can enjoy exploring the Dordogne and Lot regions. Close to Puy L'eveque and Prayssac. Our adult only gite complex provides you with 17 acres of private peaceful surroundings. We are nestled in a tranquil valley close to a bustling village on the banks of the Lot river. Our gites are an easy drive to the Dordogne. Your self catering accommodation is situated in a small complex with three gites, allowing you to unwind and relax.

Le Gardien

Chateau de Grimard was built at the end of the 13th century and is immediately next to the River Lot. It is set amongst vineyards and sunflower fields, with 8 hectares of land all of which can be used by guests. The Chateau has 3 gites, all of which have sufficient privacy. Guests can swim in the river, kayak, and there is also a large shared salt walter swimming pool. The historic town of Puy L’Eveque is five minutes drive away. Bookings are accepted from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

The small gîte

Pretty detached stone house at the end of a small private hamlet in an 8-hectare estate surrounded by nature. The accommodation comprises a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a living room with wood-burning stove and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, and a private terrace with views over the countryside. Access to the shared swimming pool (without fence or lock) overlooking the meadow and forest for total relaxation. Please note: in July/August, bookings from Saturday to Saturday only.
