Circus vacation in Putbus/Rügen

Vacation at the Circus. Your 70 m² apartment for 4 people with its own terrace is located on the first floor and offers parking and storage for bicycles right in front of the house. The apartment has 2 bedrooms. In the first very spacious bedroom, which is equipped with a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), the children's travel bed finds its place. In the second bedroom there is a double bunk bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m) in the second bedroom. Beds are already made with fresh linens on your arrival. The cozy kitchen has an inviting seating area and is equipped with a microwave (integrated grill), ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, radio (CD) and of course sufficient dishes. On cool evenings, retreat to the living room and enjoy the fire in the fireplace (the first basket of firewood is free, from then on the basket costs €5.00). Enjoy breakfast on your terrace, which you enter directly from the kitchen and let yourself be enchanted by much nature of the sound of birds and the sound of the trees. Then start your exploration of the Rosenstadt Putbus and its generously landscaped castle park. In the train station of Putbus (10 min walk), the legendary steam-powered museum train "Rasender Roland" stops. The train runs from Putbus on the circular route to Göhren via Binz, Sellin and Baabe. On a romantic train ride, you can discover the natural beauty of the island of Rügen and reach the neighboring towns quickly and comfortably. In any case, you should make a visit to the picturesque seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin directly on the Baltic Sea. The harbor of Lauterbach with various restaurants and fish smokehouses, as well as the nearest swimming spot are about 2 km away. The marina "im Jaich" also in Lauterbach offers you the possibility to take sailing lessons or to participate in sailing tours. Guided fishing tours are also possible here on request. "Cafe und Restaurant am Circus" only requires one "cat composition" from your holiday apartment. Other various restaurants, supermarkets and a bakery are located directly in Putbus just minutes from your apartment in Putbus. From 1808 to 1823, Prince Malte zu Putbus had his residence and a seaside resort built in Lauterbach. In 1817–1818, he had the Badehaus Goor built and immediately afterwards the Residenztheater. The Marstall, built between 1821 and 1824, served Prince Malte zu Putbus as a horse stable and from 1824 to 1853 he finally had the Orangery built. The reconstruction of the castle began in 1825, which was followed by the construction of the castle church Putbus between 1844 and 1846. The Circus Putbus is considered to be the last uniformly executed roundabout square in Germany, which Prince Wilhelm Malte I of Putbus had built and essentially rebuilt with classicist houses until 1845. Until 1843, in the middle of the circus, leisurely walking paths traversed a lawn surrounded by Italian poplars. Afterwards, a stricter facility with 8 star-shaped paths between wedge-shaped trolleys was created by the Princely Chief Gardener Halliger. In 1845, a 21 m high obelisk was erected in memory of the founding of the town and in 1872 the poplars uprooted as a result of a storm surge were replaced by bullet corpses.

Vacation in the "stable" - in the middle of Rügen

My place is close to the island"capital" mountains (only 5 km away) and is located in the middle of the island and also in the middle of nature. You'll love my place because of our 6,000 sqm garden. This is where you can relax after an exploration of the island, lie in a sun lounger, barbecue or drink wine in the evening. The former stable building has a traditional ceiling height of 1.95 m on the first floor... so it is better not to be bigger;-)
