Family-friendly vacation rentals in Puerto Plata

We had a wonderful stay at Carla’s spacious 2-bedroom apartment! The unit was very comfortable, and we loved the amenities, especially the pool at the complex. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach and plenty of great restaurants. When the stove ran low on propane, Carla quickly sent someone to fix it, which we really appreciated. We’re already looking forward to our next stay here. Highly recommend!

The residence is very comfortable. The beds are good. The private beach is also enjoyable. Bring a mask, snorkel, and a floating buoy as you can swim out to the reef. The downside of this is the party boats that dock and play loud music sitting just offshore. The toaster is shot and needs replacing. I know they area has had a problem with guests stilling knives, but the ones in the unit would have trouble cutting hard butter. If you would want to, You can rent a scooter or Quad, right across the street.

Bamboo's condo is nicely decorated, bright and airy with large sliding glass windows that lead out to the side balcony and main balcony. The condo has an amazing view of the well kept gardens and ocean. The beautiful beach is just steps away with restaurants down to the right. The area is great for walking with Janet's grocery store as well as restaurants close by. Bamboo as well as the condo staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

The location of this apartment is unbeatable. You can leave your gear outside in the porch, and walk to the water to kite or wing so easily. There is a restaurant between the apartment and the water, making it super convenient to grab food. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The Internet was quick and reliable, and the air conditioning very effective. Some things about the apartment could be improved: 1) there is a weird smell, potentially coming from the washer, 2) the microwave is broken, 3) the hot water in the shower was inconsistent, and 4) it's not super private and there is a security guard in front 24/7. I would've liked to know before arriving how important it is to bring cash, as most restaurants we went to (including the one on the premises) don't accept credit cards. Stefan was great at providing information about conditions to do the sport, and extremely responsive to our needs! I'd suggest reading the FAQ of the yoga place next door for other useful info!

Seawinds is in a fantastic spot, and Luis’s unit had everything we could have possibly needed. Having come from winter, we truly appreciated the delightful ocean view and breeze. It was a slice of heaven! We were also grateful for how seamless it was to communicate with Luis. He was incredibly accommodating, and was able to align check-in and check-out times with our flight schedules.

This is my second January at Kite Beach staying in Elizabeth’s lovely condo. It’s right on the beach and easy to walk to local restaurants. About 30 mins walk into Cabarete. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful beach. Ocean swimming as well as having a beautiful pool. It’s just such a great find. Can’t wait to come back. It was very hard to leave 😿😿

Fantastic 2 week stay at this great bachelor unit!! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Michal was quick to get back to us when we had questions. The Seawinds complex had a large pool , onsite restaurant by the pool with reasonably priced food (salads / burgers / pastas well under 10 bucks ) We would not hesitate renting from Michal again .

I have stayed at Krissie's condo before and as always it was a great stay. Her place is perfectly decorated, I love the natural wood, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to use to make your stay convenient for you. Everything you need is within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again. Five stars all the way!!!

I Loved my stay at Casa Linda villa #57. The villa itself was great & so was the host (Alfonso). It had some of the most important things to me: bedroom to pool accessibility, privacy & a water dispenser. It also had a couple things I now need going forward: a bidet & hammock. If you’re looking for a great villa in Casa Linda, then look no further than villa #57. I myself hope to have it available for my next trip to Sosúa.

Great place to stay ! Clean, peaceful and beautiful! Would 100 % repeat a visit. Lola was a great host and the place is in a perfect spot to enjoy peace and also to go to nearby beaches

Our second time to rent a place in DR. The location is within walking distance to an amazing beach, small grocery store that offers fresh bread daily, and good restaurants! The home was spacious and very well taken care of, pool service came daily, yard was maintained while we were there. Very private, good interest. Can easily fit 6 or more people. Ana & Jay responded when we had questions, offered info on restaurants and also connected us with a great driver! I highly recommend this place and hopefully we can stay there again.

Amazing villa, in an amazing location. Close to Sosua beach, bars, and restaurants. Lorenzo and his team were incredible and very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. 10/10.

wir sind schon zum 2ten mal in Nikolay's Wohnung und werden wueder kommen. Als Windsurfer/Kiter die perfekte Lage mit der Möglichkeit, seine Sachen auf der Terasse zu lagern. Nikolay ist super, wenn es ein Problem gsb, hat er auf die Nachrichten innert küze geantwortet und unkompliziert behoben.

Danièle est une personne très chaleureuse et accueillante. Le logement est situé dans une rue assez calme. La literie est bonne, la climatisation fonctionne bien, la cuisine est complète et le bureau est très appréciable quand vous venez en temps que digital nomad. Je recommande ce logement si vous souhaitez visiter Puerto Plata.

This place was great and very close to the POP airport. Also, not far from the city. Super clean and Gio was very responsive for any and everything!!

This was one of two properties my party booked. Directly across the street from each other. Will be back with casa coco for sure

Fantastic place for a family. Great beach and pool for the while family, plenty of restaurants in the area and supermarket within walking distance. The host was great at responding any question and the place itself made me feel very safe and comfortable with my kids. Definitely will be booking again for future family vacations.

We had a great stay, this is a great central location for kiting and restaurants!

The views from this third floor apartment are fabulous! It's nice to see the ocean from both the living room and the bedroom. The space is nicely furnished and decorated. The shared bathroom, (accessed by walking through either bedroom) is large. Both bedrooms have AC, the living room doesn't and it can get a bit hot. The kitchen has everything you need, including a variety of pots and pans. Just be sure to bring your own basics (oil, salt, pepper). You can buy 5Gallon water containers at reception area for 75 pesos. We used the laundromat across the street for our personal items. We appreciated the weekly apartment cleanings that were included in the price. Morning Breeze is close to all the beach restaurants on the main strip. The shaded carpark was a bonus. Karla is a lovely host and is quick to respond to any message. The only real issue we had is that the apartment smelt like stale cigarette smoke. even after staying for a month and leaving the doors open every day.

si buscas un lugar para descansar de la vida de la cuidad y para conectarte contigo mismo o simplemente para pasar momentos de calidad junto a tu familia este es el lugar, su anfitriona es muy amable y siempre está al tanto y dispuesta a ayudar. El alojamiento es justo como indica la descripción (la piscina es más grande de lo que se percibe en la foto); está amueblada con todo lo necesario y el lugar es super tranquilo. 10/10 100 % recomendada
