The Fortress is a wonderful place to stay. We had something for everyone to have an awesome time. We had a ggreat family reunion wwith our adult kids who live on the west coast. We enjoyed local attractions but found it a bit of a drive back at the end of the day from Manitou Springs or further. The place was immaculate, very comfortable, with a spectacular views. The host was very welcoming and responsive to questions. Thank you David, for sharing your beautiful home

Our stay was relaxing and the cabin/views are absolutely beautiful!! The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to stay in for a meal if you decide to. We would love to come back some day!

We had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful cabin in Cripple Creek. The location was peaceful with stunning mountain views, and just an hour from Colorado Springs. The house was clean, cozy, and well-decorated, with a loft that made the views even better. Check-in was smooth with clear instructions, and the hot tub was a great bonus—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Our stay was one for the books! I will never forget this trip!! Views are spectacular! I felt the airbnb was mostly stocked of things we needed for our stay and was overall impressed. A highlight was the cows morning stroll right by the house! A hit for my 6year old!! You have to wake up early to see it but very worth it! The beds are definitely firmer, so not for someone who likes a softer feel. Some questions to the host took a while for a response, but she would respond quickly to something urgent. Elizabeth worked with us, graciously, on a date change that worked better for our schedule. The hot tub worked and we used it daily, it is placed perfectly to view the mountains and nature surrounding us. We also utilized the firepit because my 6 year old loves making smores. It was rainy and wet most days, but we still had pockets of time to experience the outdoors. This was a great place to stay our first time to CO!

This stay was amazing! Perfect location. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Saw a few deer wandering in the backyard. Great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

An absolutely amazing place to stay. I was so in love with the location and the views! no pictures can ever capture the beauty and vastness of this area. I spent the whole weekend in the hot tub with a beer and a cigar during a snow storm. Golden Star vacation spot!

Exceeded my expectations!! This place is even cuter in person, the location is so convenient and close to anything you’d need. The house was stocked with everything you could need all the way down to a poop scoop in the backyard. Our dog loved the doggy door and backyard space! I would absolutely stay here again and I’m pretty picky!

With the refreshments in the fridge when we walked in and the personalized welcome note, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Marlena was incredible responsive to communication and the place was just as described. Peaceful and cozy and we felt right at home. This is by far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in and will definitely book here again!

I loved my stay at the A-frame. It provided the solitude I needed for a few days completely to myself. I had everything I needed for making my morning cup of coffee (brewed multiple ways) to an evening dinner. It looked exactly like the photos and felt super comfy. I would definitely stay again!

Everything was as advertised. Check in was super easy. Instructions for the property were clear and posted. Property was clean and host was welcoming and nice. Enjoyed our stay and local area was beautiful with lots to do, thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Cabin. The peaceful and private space allowed us to completely disconnect and cook some amazing food. Plenty of outdoor adventures around to keep us busy and the perfect home atmosphere to wake up and sip coffee and then wine down with a fire and sit in the sauna in the evenings. We left well rested with plenty of memories.

Such a peaceful place to stay. I loved visiting the horses, donkeys, pigs, barn cats and the wild ones that showed up to graze. The view with Pikes Peak in the background was gorgeous! Enjoy a cup of coffee with a relaxing view. It’s about 30 minutes to Monument, Elizabeth and Franktown. Had everything I could need to cook meals and sleep well in the bed. Thank you Susan and Craig for the memories.❤️

We loved the place!! Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. My dog loved the creek. We will definitely try to come back and recommend to friends and family.

My partner and I enjoyed 5 wonderful nights in this charming home. It looked exactly like the pictures and was in a very peaceful location. The entire place was incredibly clean and comfortable. It rained during most of our stay, so we spent a lot of time indoors and found it very cozy and comfortable. We love to cook and were pleasantly surprised to see the kitched was stocked with a decent variety of basic cooking spices (salt, pepper, garlic, onion, cumin cayenne, cinnamon, lots more we can't remember). My partner enjoyed the craft beer and some of the complimentary snacks too. The sauna was also a wonderful and relaxing treat! The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive. We had thunderstorms during our visit which knocked out the internet a few times, but thankfully not for too long and our hosts were helpful in troubleshooting. We will definitely come back! Thank you! Stargazing was also spectacular!

Great home, that feels like home. Huge comfortable couches, fully stocked kitchen with spices and containers for leftovers and everything I needed. Super close to the lake!

This beautiful cabin with stunning views perched just outside of Beulah Valley provided the perfect location for a respite and mountain getaway. The staggering views of the valley and Greenhorns were breathtaking. The layout of the deck and thoughtfulness of the placement to take advantage of the terrain, sunlight and views puts it to the front of our favored mountain destinations. Its location provides for tranquility and quiet while allowing for close proximity for hiking on and from the property as well as other desired destinations such as Pueblo Mountain Park, San Isabel Lake and Bishop's Castle. Let’s just say this place checks all the boxes.

Beautiful cabin and perfect location. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and Michael as a host. Close to Great hikes at Green Mountain Falls. Comfy beds, lovely front porch. We were blessed to see lots of wildlife. It was a remarkable stay. Will definitely be back!

Brooke was helpful, responsive, and extremely kind. This location was amazing and our stay was extremely comfortable. Lots of nature and cute animals like deer, birds, and squirrels. The weather did not permit the use of the dome to view the stars but when it was dark and the clouds parted a little you can see just how many stars there are without all the light pollution. The cabin Shawn provided was a wonderful stay. It was clean, and felt like home. It had all the needed supplies in the kitchen to do some serious cooking, and a lively dining area to enjoy meals. WiFi is provided and of good quality. With natural woods and glorious nature all around- this place is a true authentic cabin. Shawn was a great host. While I was utilizing his cabin on Easter weekend it had snowed about 14” inches and I was worried my in-laws wouldn’t be able to make the trek to the cabin. He was ready to personally deliver a key to give me access to the garage and use of the shovels within. Thankfully, my truck got around great and he didn’t need to make the trek on my behalf, but his willingness to do so sent a very positive message. I would stay here again in a heartbeat (and already plan to)

The first time was so nice during the winter we decided to come back and enjoy it during spring time! It is peaceful with areas to rest near the creek. Outdoor games provided for the kids like corn hole and horseshoe while we grilled out. This is a home away from home! Thank you for the hospitality and hosting such a tranquil cabin!

This stay was fantastic! My husband and I drove here all the way from Florida for our honeymoon. The area is gorgeous, overlooking a vast forest and the mountains. It was a very peaceful and quiet stay. About a 25 min drive to woodland park. And the cabin itself is so cute! The kitchen is stocked with seasonings, cooking oil, and anything else you could need. The only thing I’d advise is to bring a humidifier, as the air is very dry and cold. It was a lifesaver for our allergies and helped prevent nosebleeds. It will also minimize the little electric zaps you experience from being in a drier, colder climate. Of course this is just an aspect of Colorado, no fault of the Airbnb. Alec was such a friendly and communicative host, from start to finish. I highly recommend!
