El Sahugo, between Agadones and El Rebollar

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cute little house, as described, with very good communication. Only (small) negatives are the same as other reviews - the stairs are not in the best position and the shower curtain isn't ideal. Whilst the air conditioning downstairs is great, we found it difficult to cool the bedroom.

A spacious bed is adorned with bright sunflower-themed pillows and a soft turquoise accent pillow. A modern lamp in a matching turquoise hue sits on the bedside table. Above the bed, a vibrant landscape photograph of a sunflower field adds a cheerful touch to the room.

Casa Morocho: La Dehesa Apartment

We truly enjoyed our stay at Gloria's house. The home was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare a holiday meal. Gloria, her husband, and her son were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, offering excellent recommendations for things to see and do around the area. Gloria went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were greeted with a delicious homemade cake, fresh lemons from her tree, local vegetables, and Jamón. She also thoughtfully left us sodas and bottled water. We highly recommend staying at Gloria’s place – it was a wonderful experience!

Friend's stay after sherry award Maria has been very communicative, responding quickly to our requests. The apartment is idyllic, very clean and comfortable. Unique failure to have no elevator, understandable since it is in the historic center of Plasencia. We'll definitely repeat it!
The bathroom features a walk-in shower enclosed by glass panels, with a modern showerhead and grab bars. A sleek vanity with storage provides a clean surface for toiletries, accompanied by a round mirror. A compact chair is positioned beside the vanity.

Superior apartment Bonelli

The accommodation is beautiful and is located in a very bucolic area, it is designed and decorated with great care and does not lack any detail. It's a real pleasure to have breakfast on the terrace. The road to access the village is in good condition considering that it is a Natural Park, the village is very small but has several bars and small shops to buy the basics. For those of you staying here, I recommend taking the boat tour on the Tagus, doing a hiking trail visiting the cave paintings and the ruins of the castle of Monfragüe and doing a night visit to the Astronomical Observatory (you can walk from the house). Also as a warning to the urbanites who are thinking of staying, the house is very well equipped with windows with great insulation power, closed you can't hear anything but if you open them to sleep you may be woken up by the roosters and sheep from the farm across the street. There is air conditioning. The coffee maker works with ground coffee.

Casa do Alto Lodge

It was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, in the middle of nature with an amazing an view. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was cozy and the smell of the fruit trees was great not to mention the pool ! Would recommend very much but beware that the climb to the house is nothing for big vans ! Hidden gem!
A grill is positioned over a vibrant flame, showcasing the bright orange and yellow hues of the fire. The grill has several pieces of meat arranged on it, surrounded by glowing embers and smoke rising in the background.

The stay was fabulous. Lorenzo and his wife were attentive at all times and were very kind The house is spectacular, comfortable, clean and the beds are wonderful. Also, being able to use the pool with the heat and the barbecue was a very good point. I recommend staying at this accommodation for comfort, tranquility, kindness and a good location. We loved it and will be back for sure.
