Secret Garden Chalet No. 2

KimRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We were very warmly welcomed to the property. We didn't miss anything all day, as our hosts really put in a lot of effort. The cottage is lovingly and high-quality furnished - air conditioning, coffee maker, fridge and a comfortable bed. In the Secret Garden, there are many different retreats to simply unwind. We received great tips from our hosts on which shops, bars and restaurants nearby are worth visiting. The recommendations were consistently great! For the beach about 1 km away, there is the option to rent umbrellas, etc. Parking is absolutely no problem in the morning. The beach and the water are gigantically beautiful! Animals include 6 small dogs, as well as Hercules the turtle. We miss the rascals already. Thanks again for everything! Carsten & Kim

Lovely villa with jacuzzi 350 m from the sea

KerstinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Suzanna's house was the last stop of a multi-day Puglia trip. We felt very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the evenings in the garden or on the terrace. We were enthusiastic about the opportunity to use the two bikes: We took a nice trip to Punta Prosciutto - the two bikes were older but well-functional after we had oiled them a little. We also appreciated the sympathetic welcome by Anna Lucia and her partner, who brought Foccia and red wine as a welcome gift. Anna Lucia gave us valuable tips and was also available at all times.

Casa Mary very close to the sea with a large terrace

GildasRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We spent a week in this small house ideally located 50m from the beach and with a rooftop terrace with magnificent sea views = TOP Small downside on the bathroom because the shower is small, we got out but it can be complicated for other people. Woke up in the morning by the work of the neighbors but Michele is not responsible for it. Finally on a positive note, the direct neighbors are extremely friendly and the homemade limoncello was delicious 🤤

Villetta d 'aMare

AlbertoRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lisa's place I highly recommend it, beautiful, clean, in a very quiet area. The house is in the center of many villages that in less than 40 minutes you can get there by car such as monopolies, Alberobello, Fasano, Cisternino, locorotondo, etc. The house was as shown in the photos, and Mrs. Lisa was very genius, and for any problem it was enough to contact her who immediately tried to solve the problem. The only downside was • The parking space that is not always located outside the house ( also because in front there is a well organized convenience store and tobacco shop)

Roberta and Francesco were super nice and helpful! Our flight was delayed but that was no problem for both of us, despite the night check-in. The place was super clean and very well equipped. You can always find a sunny spot for breakfast or dinner. There are some beautiful bays in the immediate vicinity and plenty of good restaurants. Most of all, we were impressed by the incredible hospitality with which we were received - thank you Roberta and Francesco!

The welcome was perfect, the host waited for us at 10pm despite a delay in the arrival of our plane. She gave us a listing similar to the description. The amenities available helped us have a lovely stay! A huge thank you to our host for his help and assistance when we needed to sew an important garment for a ceremony. I can't thank you enough, despite the language barrier you were great!!! We'll be back at your place if we come back to Taranto!

Da Nicola, villa in safe village-pine forest-beach

VincentRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very well located cottage, in close proximity to the sea. Our two-week stay at the end of May was very quiet, as the season had not started. The setting is very pleasant, in a very protected pine forest. The cottage is spacious, and very well-equipped. The welcome was great, in a perfectly tidy and clean house. The owner and his family are available and very welcoming. Within a 1.5-hour radius, many tourist sites are accessible. I would highly recommend it, especially in May and early June, when peace and quiet are guaranteed. Great experience. Recommended!

Great place to unwind with the pool available for use and the nearby beaches a short walk or drive away. The listing is as described with everything you need. Only downside was a lot of the nearby restaurants and shops were closed due to the time of year we visited. Suspect during the summer months this would not be the case.

Mediterranean House with JACUZZI/TERRACE with SEA view

SophieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Lanzilotti was a wonderful host— since we bike-packed to the location he made extra accommodations for us by giving us a safe place to store our bikes and made reservations for a taxi for our early departure to the train station. We were blown away by his kindness and the beauty of the surroundings, and the general setup of the BnB. However, the true beauty is in the nearby natural attractions and local people, you can’t beat the beaches and water of Specchiolla, it was a pristine and uncrowded paradise in October. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!

Anna's House

SimonaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Good morning I stayed in this apartment recently. Very clean house, helpful and kind owners made me feel at home, even in the village and the people at the entrance in the guardhouse were helpful and friendly. In the evening by the pool they always organized something. I would say that if it weren't for the fact that my car broke down and this year the shuttle service didn't leave from the village, they would have been perfect. Simona

Trullo in love: tradition and charm

ChristopherRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We enjoyed our stay at Valentina’s Trullo. The property is charming & very quirky, with pinnacled ceilings and pretty ceramics. Outside there are several seating areas plus a good sized private pool, with views of the sea in distance. Ostuni is a reasonable walk away (about 15 minutes) but on dark roads so a taxi home in the evening is advisable. The white-walled town has great restaurants & pretty streets. Valentina was very helpful and left wine & pizza on our arrival and responded quickly to a request for a kettle & clothes airer (thank you). Also surprised us with a delivery of delicious cream-filled pasticciotti on our last day. Things to note. A Trullo is not a conventional building and some of the doorways are low, so care needed. The kitchen was also small if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Our only real problem was the WiFi only worked intermittently during our stay. Despite our host’s best attempts to fix it. Thanks again to Valentina. Grazie!

Punta Prosciutto – Villa by the sea, with swimming pool

MarkusRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed a great family holiday at the nice beach of punto Prosciutto (off season!). Angelo and his wife were very kind and super professional hosts. A new Airbnb experience was that Angelo asked us to sign a separate contract and comittment to the rules of the house. Although the list of rules and instructions is quite long its only common sense behavior and a respectful treatment of his property that he asks for. So, no problem to sign. And the result is a well maintained and clean experience for all his guests. Some information is not so clear from the general description of the house but every information is given in the rules for the stay on the airbnb page which you should devinetively read prior to the booking: e.g. for a family of 4 you have only access to 2 sleeping rooms and the use of the Pool comes with an aditional fee of 7.50€ per erson per day. we didnt use the Pool since I was not sure whether my kids (5&7) would easily follow the rules for it. We enjoyed the sea!

Private Terrace, Salento, by the Sea

JasperRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This apartment is all about the terrace. So you best visit it during the sunny season. Outside the season the village is sleeping, almost all restaurants and locations are closed 24/7 at that moment. But outside the season, you can cook yourself a meal using the kitchen and equipment. Some big supermarkets are within 15 to 30 minutes by car, which you really need.

Villa dei GELSI Punta Prosciutto 11 beds

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rita's place is in a quiet town, just a stone throw from the beach. We visited in off-season, so it was very quiet, but there are restuarants and facilities nearby that would open in the summer. The next town is just a short drive (or bike ride) away and has supermarkets, restaurants and would be busy in the summer season (but was quite when we visted in April). The beach has the finest sand and there is plenty of space. Best about Rita's place are the bikes to get you around, the outdoor dining and the fireplace (which is a great addition for cool April nights, but won't be much use in the summer).
A spacious bed with crisp, white pillows is showcased against a light blue sheet. Nearby, neatly folded towels are displayed, featuring a sun motif. The backdrop features images of serene beach scenes, enhancing the calming ambiance of the sleeping area.

Blue Sun was close to the beach, there was also a supermarket close by as well as places to eat. The unit was very clean & comfortable, having a washing machine was very convenient. The hosts provided precise details about finding the property & how to get in. They were very friendly & were available for any queries during our stay. I would recommend staying here.
