Beautiful space with stunning view! Perfect to disconnect and relax!

If I could move in here permanently, I would. What a gorgeous stay with responsive and respectful hosts. Everything was as described, the hot tub was glorious, and we loved looking through the binder of photos of painstaking restoration over the years.

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We spent two nights there, everything was great! The jacuzzi overlooking the mountains is a good plus and if you go in summer you can enjoy the fruits that grow on site. There are also a couple of neighbors, who are absolutely adorable and with whom everything went well.

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Beautiful views, 20 min by car from the nearest town, not accessible without a car. The communication went great, the house was easy to find with navigation & the area is very nice

Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful place! Gianni is a very nice host, we communicated with each other continuously. The accommodation is as authentic as we imagined and is in a really quiet place with a view of the countryside. Sitting under a blooming wisteria is a great idea! For dog owners, I would just add that the land is not 100% fenced and our Minnie does not yet have such perfect manners, so we had to watch a little so that she would not leave us:-) In San Baront, we bought groceries and had dinner in an excellent restaurant. In the town of Lamporecchio, we visited the market and an excellent pastry shop. We went on trips to nature, went to Volterra. There are amazing, nice people living in Italy who always try to help when we need them, and that's why we love to come back!

Great place off the beaten path between Pisa and Florence for easy access. Beautiful, clean, and great breakfast (but the same daily - needs variety). The room was way too hot for me so I borrowed/confiscated an oscillating fan from the laundry room. Very peaceful and quiet with a great pool, but never had time to use it. Staff was very kind and helpful!!

Exceptionally beautiful house in Tuscany. With a wonderful mountainous location and incredible views. Lucca, Pisa, Florence and many other destinations can be easily reached by car 😁 Mr. Biondo, who is actually the host, is an extremely courteous and friendly man. Steh is helpful and can be reached at any time. I'd love to come back 😁

The location is superb, great views and has a very cosy feel. The kitchen and living area on the ground floor were spacious and welcoming, while the private terrace made for a lovely place to have breakfast with an amazing view every morning. The bathroom and bedroom, situated at the first floor, were very clean and well equipped and the view from the bed was amazing every day. Our host Fabio was very friendly, informative and helpful informing us about best times to visit the main tourist attactions of Tuscany and where we could find the best restaurants and shops in the area. All in all an amazing stay! Totally recommend!

We (4 adults, 2 kids) were there for 12 days on vacation. The journey was a bit tricky because we did not come up the access road fully loaded with our big bus (Hyundai Staria), Andrea and Barbara were so nice and drove all our luggage up, then we got to the house by bus empty. The driveway requires a little practice, especially with larger cars. The house has the typical Italian rustic style and is larger than it appears in the photos. All bedrooms are air conditioned and spacious, the Wi-Fi runs stable. The surroundings and views are a dream. Everything you need to survive and feel good is there. Barbara and Andrea were there for us the whole time and always helped us with advice and assistance. We have rarely had such warm hosts!!! We could pick and eat all the fruits and vegetables that grow there. The pool is nice and large, enough shade and an outdoor kitchen are available. We will be happy to come back. ❤️

Our stay went very well. The house is located in a quiet corner in the countryside but remains close to all amenities. The garden is very nice with the naturally shaded dining area with climbing vines. The house is authentic and spacious and has everything you need. Sergio is a thoughtful, responsive and very good host. He's always concerned that the stay goes smoothly. Good place to start exploring this beautiful region. If you want to eat great pizzas go to BASILICO FRESCO suggest by Sergio we were not seduced.

Quarrata is a great little village and the house is in a pretty location in the country, surrounded by olive trees and rolling hills. its a 2.5km walk or a quick drive, so if you're staying there, it's really useful to have a vehicle. It's peaceful, has everything you need incl a washing machine, and Eleonora is a great, responsive and friendly host. It is up a couple of flights of stairs so just be aware of that. Because of that the views are gorgeous. True Tuscan loveliness.

Very occasionally, you arrive at a place and meet people who make you feel so incredibly at home, and that's what Sandra and Cristiano and their B&B do for you. Everything is right, the view, the hospitality, the house, the tasty things in the fridge. In short, a small paradise on earth with 2 very special warm sweet people who we already have in our hearts. The cottage on top of the mountain is in our top 5 most beautiful and best places and Sandra and Cristiano at number 1❤️. Beautiful spacious house. Plenty of privacy because the house is completely free on top of a hill. The garden full of olive trees and oleanders together with the view complete the perfect picture. Excellent beds available and also equipped with all the basic things you need. The private swimming pool is top and with about 12x4m larger than you expect. The keys must be picked up in Montecatini Terme, a town nearby (about 10 to 15 minutes). The host will then drive you to the cottage. On the day of departure, the host came back to the cottage in the morning. Well arranged! You will be in Pisa, Lucca or Florence within the hour. In addition, there are many nice villages and good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. In short, had a wonderful time in a very nice vacation home. Highly recommended if you want to visit the previously mentioned cities, appreciate a stay in a quiet area and want to be able to relax on the edge of the pool in between.

Comfortable spot for two people. Beautiful garden and friendly neighbors too. Close to Pistoia - with great places to dine. We would definitely return!

It was a very nice week in Tuscany despite the rather rainy weather. The house is wonderful, large, warm, with all the amenities. There is also a wonderful yard with a barbecue, which we did not get to enjoy much, but the fault is only the weather. But our parking place was very convenient. There is complete peace and quiet, it is very relaxing. The location is great - very close to the A11, in 1 hour you can get to Florence, 30-40 minutes to Pisa, 15-20 minutes to Lucca. And to countless other Tuscan beauties. Thank you to Graziella and Marco for the beautiful home, the wonderful welcome and the care they took for us!

Alberto and his son are super nice and very attentive. We loved the place (it's even better than the pictures). The pool is magnificent. We spent a week with our 15-month-old son and everything was very well suited to a baby. We recommend this listing and will definitely be back

Alessia and David were amazing hosts! So kind and welcoming. We felt right at home and their family owned home is a true gem. Stunning views and just an amazing garden with pool, truly private on top of a mountain. You can tell they care bout this house and look after it with lots of love and care, it made the stay so much more memorable. ❤️

The house is spotlessly clean, spacious and well presented. The surrounding countryside is simply beautiful. While the local village doesn’t have a great array of restaurants, cafes and 4km drive away is Montecatini Terme with plenty to choose from. Just note that you do basically share a courtyard with your neighbour which can seem a little strange when having a coffee, drink. Would loved to have stayed longer and explore the region more thoroughly.
