Vacation rentals with lake access in Province of Ourense

An exquisitely beautiful, peaceful place, well-appointed, and away from the busy world. Using our AllTrails app, we went on long walks in the surrounding steep hills of the Ribeira Sacra, and once toured a winery. We hiked down to swim in the cool & quiet river, and enjoyed evenings at home, watching the sun set — or the rain fall — across the deep river valley. Final bit of the drive there is quite steep & narrow: we sought a place in the campo, and this is one! Thank you Erik & Cecilia, for welcoming us.

We were a group of comrades who came from different areas. We all left loved the place. Very nice house, large, comfortable, very clean, tidy and with everything you need to have a good stay. Also highly recommended for families, as it has toys, books swings and a bunch of things for the kids. Very few minutes from Monforte de Lemos, where you can buy, walk, have a drink.. The hosts were lovely and very attentive since even before we were the date of our reservation. They recommended places and things to do and were very attentive to anything. It really is a place we would repeat without any hesitation. And nothing expensive for the type of accommodation it is.

A fantastic house, very cozy. It has everything you need to spend a comfortable stay, in fact it is one of the best equipped houses I have been in. The area is very nice and not overcrowded. Pilar is very friendly and knows the area perfectly so she is an excellent informer

We had a wonderful experience at this home. Everything was spotless, cared for down to the last detail. The owner left us at our disposal milk for breakfast, sausages, coffee of various kinds, pastries etc. LOVELY. The house is beautiful, cozy and was spotless. The environment is very nice and perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. We had an unforgettable end of the year and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!”

We had the most wonderful time at Sofía’s home. We loved the history and stories we gleamed from the beautiful photos on the walls and felt completely at home in this magnificent property. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. Sofía was a wonderful host and the cleanliness was above and beyond perfect. We were close to Las Médulas for a day of impressive history and across the street from some fun waterslides for the kids. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful home and enjoy our lazy days around the pool. A memorable time for our family! Thank you so much!

This was a fabulous Airbnb in the most gorgeous setting in rural Spain. We throughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this airbnb

The area is beautiful, the apartment was very well decorated with many details, clean, tidy, large and Miriam anything we needed made it easier for us.

Candela's accommodation matches the description perfectly. It is well equipped and comfortable, with a beautiful terrace, river view. In addition, it is very close to a pedestrian street where there are restaurants, bars and shops, which is very nice. We were very well received and had a lot of information about the Ribeira Sacra including: visits to wineries, wine festivals, restaurant addresses with excellent Galician cuisine, boat rides on the Sil River, recommended museums in Monforte de Lemos (Parador, Escolapios or Arte Sacro en las Clarisas) and the beautifully located Pazo de Arxeriz ecomuseum that I highly recommend (eat next door if possible, at the posada Torre Vilariño, the first casa rural in Galicia). We took advantage of all this because the weather didn't allow us to go hiking. We'll go back to do them because the scenery is beautiful and the people are lovely.

The cottage is ideal if you want to visit the Sacred Riveira and surroundings. Good location, it has a village next door, Chantada that is great for shopping, and a drink. Impeccable cleanliness, a spacious house with 4 large rooms, no detail missing. Victoria , the owner, was available at all times that we were very comfortable and if we needed anything. We've had a great week and I don't have any but to this experience.

Quiet place, acojedory well located. Ideal for what we wanted as we went for Orense's rally. It was 20 minutes or so from the sections. Honestly, we had a great time.

The house is very large and clean. It has all the comforts ....and the village is very cute, very nice people.

From the first moment we felt right at home, the property is located in a good place, it is located near several villages with all kinds of services. The owners of the house welcomed us very kindly and gave us food advice and other things. The whole outside is fenced so our furry ones were safe and with a great area to play! It can be accessed from the plot directly to the river, it is a beautiful place, we have bathed every day, it is also safe if you are going with children. Before we left, we were given tomatoes from the garden itself! We are delighted. Thank you for giving us a place to charge the batteries that were so missing:))))

The house is beautiful, the living room window is already worth it, Maria was looking out for everything we needed. The only thing I would add maybe is mosquito nets or, failing that, air conditioning because in the summer evenings open the windows it becomes difficult to open the windows without mosquitoes entering. It is also the price to be paid for nature. We clearly recommend it 100%.

We had an amazing weekend at David's house, Happy left us in love and the whole environment is spectacular. I'd love to repeat.

Very good accommodation experience. Excellent communication with Miguel from the start. Very attentive, leaving us two high chairs since we went with two babies. The house has all the amenities it describes, a very quiet area with wonderful views to completely disconnect. It is advisable to bring mosquito repellent since, as a good rural area, it has plenty of them outside. The cleanliness of the entire house should be noted.
