Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Providence

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

Thoroughly enjoyed it perfect thank you so much for the extras that hardly any Airbnb provides! My husband says thank you so much for all the wood you provided it saved him from hauling it. We left our kayaks in North Carolina because they would make too much noise however we were surprised to find kayaks and fishing poles available for renters! You really should put that in your ad, may have been the decision point that we would’ve chosen for you It would be nice if all Airbnb were as accommodating as you guys were . based on the extras ! Hopefully nobody in the future takes advantage of you.

The house and especially the location was wonderful. Very quiet surroundings and great nature. Contacting the very nice hosts was easy and uncomplicated. We found the house as it was described in the advertisement. The furnishings also left nothing to be desired. All in all, it was a lovely stay and we would want to request the house again at any time if we come back to this beautiful area.

Amy and Ryan’s home was such a joy! Very well appointed with almost everything you could think of needing, such a cute aesthetic and in a great location. Amy went above and beyond and gave tons of local recommendations that were open during our stay. Highly recommend!

My family had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. All the details and amenities was so thought out made our stay so easy and convenient . We felt right at home and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, lakefront home! All the amenities you would ever expect and more. Allie proactively communicated and the instructions were clear and informative. My family and I especially enjoyed all the outdoor areas-- the porch, fireplace and lake front.

Responsive host. Flexible about check in and out which we appreciated. House was generally very clean except for under couches and beds (which were all raised up so you could see dust and old water bottle etc underneath). Easy check out with reasonable check out cleaning requests. Thanks for having us.

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

Cindy was great with communications, and gave me all of the instructions I needed to make it a pleasant stay for me, my dog, and the hosts. I stayed Friday and Saturday nights, and enjoyed the craft beer and locally made sourdough pizza in the evenings with a talented musical duo playing on Saturday night. The taproom closes at 8pm, and after closing time the apartment is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is cozy with attractive furnishings and a comfortable bed, but it is not a place for people with mobility challenges. There are 17 steps up to the apartment, and the shower in a free-standing claw-foot tub doesn't have handrails. I enjoyed my stay, and give it a 5-star review for physically fit singles or a couple!

The Yellow Door Inn was exactly what I needed for my little getaway from the craziness of my life!! You are surrounded by art, and comfort that is difficult to find. I felt at peace the moment I arrived and my doggos also loved the large yard and access to the Salem Art Works!! Klara and Greg are great hosts, they responded very quickly and were so so kind to me during my stay. If you are staying in Salem, I would 1000% recommend the Yellow Door Inn. You will not regret it! I know I will most definitely be back next time I stay in the area. It was hard for me to leave and head back home, because I felt I was already home…

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

The hosts are super helpful and the place has 10+ working pinball/other game machines! The apartment was very clean, and accurate to what is posted.

Stayed at Juliann’s place for a work trip in the area. The apartment was very comfortable, and the location was perfect — just a short drive to nearby Saratoga and also walkable to local restaurants. The apartment also has plenty of thoughtful touches that made it feel special. Great place for one person or a couple looking for a peaceful stay.

The house is spacious and has four bedrooms, which really hosts a large family. It is very clean when checking in. Some amenities and utilities have age but they are super well maintained. I highly recommend this place if you just would like to have a stay when traveling in upper NY.

Had an excellent stay at Keith’s place! Everything was clean and as described. Keith even reached out to us to let us know we can check in early if we wanted. It’s literally 2mins from Skidmore which is the reason we were there and I couldn’t recommend it more. Will be back when we are in town again.

We found that the place was exactly as described. Everything was very good. We loved your recliners out on the back, looking out the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful calm. We were able to get one fire in on Friday night. At the campfire was so peaceful and quiet and serene. Looking across the lake at the cabins with their lights on was just a beautiful relaxing time. We want to thank Barry and Shirley very much and I’m about 99% sure that we will be back again. Thanks again.

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

We had a great stay fishing, walking and just relaxing. Did some driving to Speculator and Indian Lake too. Good plan when it’s buggy!

We had an amazing stay! The property is just as described and was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the record player while playing games by the fire! Charlene responded to my messages promptly and was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit too! This property is in a good location! Secluded but a close enough drive to Herkimer Diamond mine which is what brought us to the area. Hoping to be back in the future to explore some more! We will stay here again if ever in the area! Thank you for sharing your home with us! It was a blessing!

Desma's cabin was the perfect getaway for us... tucked away in the woodline with a small stream running through the property. Peaceful, wonderful. Comfortable. We highly recommend Desma as an excellent host and her lovely cabin as an excellent place to stay for a week to unwind.

A truly magical experience to live in the trees. Igor’s place was a warm and cozy place actually nestled amongst the trees. Any view looked out into the trees and even on a rainy weekend, we enjoyed the sounds, the smells, and all the nature that surrounded us. We even got to use the wood stove which helped keep the chill outside. (Thank goodness all those skills came back to me from childhood) Thank you so much for hosting us and we highly recommend to all.

It was a very peaceful and relaxing setting. Everything was great. Hot tub is new and worked great. We had a lot of rain and spent a lot of time inside. It was very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Maura was an excellent host. Very responsive with very clear instructions on everything you need to know about camp stardust. The cabin is cozy and tucked away in the woods on a serene lake.
