Vacation rentals in Prines

Roula was an exceptional host. The house was lovely and had everything we needed, including a great outdoor eating area. The garden has beautiful plants and trees, and the pool is great. Being surrounded by the well looked after goats and sheep was charming and the sound of their bells very relaxing. The village has well stocked supermarkets and there is a fantastic local butcher too. You definitely need a car if you are staying here, parking and getting around Rethymno is really easy. We loved our stay.

KLEIN ABER FEIN! Wir waren nur ein paar Tage im Arkadi Spa und es hat uns super gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Den beheizten Jacuzzi auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf das Mittelmeer und die Weißen Berge werden wir NIE vergessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Dann aber für mehrere Wochen. Die deutschsprachige Kommunikation mit Axel war absolut perfekt. Er hat uns viele wertvolle Tips gegeben und aus Gastgeber und Gästen sind Freunde geworden.

I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft – genau wie auf den Bildern: sehr sauber, gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war super lecker und vielseitig! Die Straße ist etwas laut, aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt kaum gestört. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The outdoor area was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere of the house made us feel immediately at home. Stavros was a wonderful host. He welcomed us personally with a short tour of the house during check-in and gave us many helpful local tips. On top of that, he generously provided us with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch.

We have so many wonderful memories of staying at Giorgos's villa. The position was perfect for us. The pool is a good size for swimming, the BBQ space is beautiful, the beds are comfy, and the size/feel of the property is excellent. Ultimately the villa is a tasteful fusion of authentic Greek design - meets modern design. And, Rethinmo is the jewel of Greece. It's old-town, nightlife and food are unsurpassable, Raki Ba Raki 1600 is now our favourite restaurant having eaten there three times during our stay. Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub für uns da die Location einfach perfekt und wunderschön ist. Noch besser als auf den Bildern. Es ist alles im Haus vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Ort hat auch alles vom Bäcker, Supermarkt und verschiedenen Restaurants gleich um die Ecke. Das Meer ist nicht weit entfernt und in 6 km Entfernung ein Sandstrand mit leckem Restaurant. Einen großen Dank an unseren Gastgeber Kostas, selbst abends um 22.00 Uhr hat er uns persönlich empfangen und im Kühlschrank war was zu essen Essen und zu trinken. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen. Nochmals lieben Dank für alles!!!!!!

Nikos møtte oss på parkeringen og hjalp oss med koffertene, siden det ble arbeidet på veien inn til huset der vi vanligvis ville kjørt inn. Det var nærmere midnatt da vi ankom. Han hadde spurt oss på forhånd om vi ønsket at han skaffet noe å spise siden vi kom så seint. Og for et måltid han hadde fremskaffet. Varm mossaka og gresk salat, laget av bestemoren, kake til dessert laget av moren. Det var starten på et fortreffelig opphold. Huset ligger med en fantastisk utsikt i en liten landsby. Her har man alt man trenger av matbutikker og spisesteder i gangavstand. Det er et godt utgangspunkt når man har bil og ønsker å bo med avstand til kysten. Det er et veldig stille området, noe som passet oss godt. Om man ønsker å kunne spasere ned til stranda for å bade så får man ikke det her. Men om man ønsker et nydelig og rolig sted som utgangspunkt for å utforske Kreta så er dette et perfekt sted. Kostnaden for å ta drosje fra Rethymno er heller ikke avskrekkende. Det gjorde vi flere dager. 👍
