Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. Very beautiful house of master, full of charm from the late 17th century on the banks of the Creuse (150 m from the house) and 8 km from ANGLES ON the ANGLIN. It has been renovated, furnished with all the comforts for a very pleasant family holiday. Large flowered garden, walled, close to the renowned cure center of LA ROCHE POSAY, the Abbey of FONGOMBAULT (12 kms), the Brenne ponds (20 kms), the FUTUROSCOPE of Poitiers (50 kms). Very nice bike rides to do in the area.

La maison Carré - romantic house on river, 2p

The former ferry house has been completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has its own garden, and there is a private beach on the estate. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.
