Welcome to our Gite, simply named Le Gite No 2! Over the past year we have brought this old building back to life with a total re-fit and makeover. Gite is in an amazing location with lots to do and see. Your hosts are Mark and Agnieszka, and, between us, we speak English, French, Polish and a little German. We are here to make your stay with us happy and relaxing, while you create wonderful memories! We live next door to the Gite and therefore, should you need help, we are on hand 24/7.

There are no other guests on the property. There are beautiful walks on the doorstep with a Medieval Millhouse on the Charente river 300 metres away and chemins stretching for miles around the area. The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.

Whether you are a couple, with family or on a business trip, this apartment will make you have a pleasant stay. It consists of a double bedroom and a single bedroom equipped with a changing table. In the living room you will find the table where you can savor the dishes cooked in the equipped kitchen located next door. The cottage overlooks and accesses the river, where swimming is possible. The hamlet is very peaceful, and the water is a great place to relax! A walk can be enjoyed from the cottage, along a path along the Vienne River. You can reach Chauvigny on foot or by bike along the trails. There are a few chickens on the grounds. Nightly rate: €52 without sheets + €8 sheets to be paid in advance if needed.
